Find out how we ensure the availability of our services
30 June 2025
Each of us is different. We differ in the way we think, move, communicate and use technology. What is intuitive for one person may be a challenge for another. That is why at InPost we care about accessibility - we want to make using our services convenient and enjoyable for everyone.
Whether you use a mouse, keyboard, screen reader, gestures or voice - InPost solutions are for you.
For years, we have been working to make our services and products increasingly accessible and tailored to customers' needs including older people, people with disabilities and people with neurodiversity experiences (such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD or dyslexia). That is why we design our devices, apps and services so that everyone can use them independently, without stress or feeling excluded.
Below you will find information about what we have already implemented - and what we are still working on.
Clear and intuitive website
Sending a parcel, looking for information about InPost services or current promotions? You will find all these features (and more) on the InPost.pl website.
It has been designed to work best on any device: computer, phone and tablet, regardless of browser or operating system.
But that is not all. We have also taken care of solutions that make the website more user-friendly and functional for everyone:
- readability - large, simple fonts and contrast,
- simple navigation - ease of navigating the site, even without a mouse. All functions work with the keyboard or alternative control methods,
- support for assistive technologies - including compatibility with screen readers.
Convenient mobile application
It's your command centre. Thanks to the InPost app Mobile you have access to the status of your shipments, your InPost shopping basket Pay , as well as a loyalty programme with InCoins (points awarded for using InPost's daily services).
During the development phase of the app, we were particularly keen to make it convenient for everyone to use. However, we are constantly making improvements and enhancing the functionalities to be more and more accessible.
The application for the moment is equipped with:
- clear interface - contrasting colours and appropriate button size,
- compatibility with screen readers - popular support tools for blind and partially sighted people: VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android) ,
- gesture and keyboard operation - accurately described elements that work according to current accessibility standards, making the application easier to use for people who do not use a touchscreen,
- alternative texts - icons, graphics and messages have been supplemented with descriptions so that people using assistive technology know what is happening on the screen,
- convenient touch elements - The buttons are the right size and spacing, making them easy to use regardless of the device you are using.
Friendly helpline and chat
It is through them that you contact our Customer Service. They too have been adapted to serve people with special needs.
Key facilities include:
- extended talk time for those in need of additional support,
- alternative forms of contact such as video chat with a Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter - available, among others, on the MIGAM website and inpost.pl/migam .
Most importantly, however, are our employees and couriers, whom we train in the following areas clear communication . All this is done to ensure that the language we use is simple and adapted to the perceptual capabilities of all customers.
In addition, InPost couriers have gained access in their daily work to the MIGAM application with Polish Sign Language interpreter . This is another step towards more accessible communication with customers.
