There should not be the slightest problem with the service. When shopping online, all you have to do is select the delivery option to the InPost machine of your choice and then enter your phone number, email address.

There are two ways to receive a parcel: remotely from InPost application Mobile or with QR code or a pick-up code. In the case of the first option, we receive a notification in the app that the parcel has been placed in the selected Paczkomat machine. When you go to the machine, all you have to do is select the "Open box" option in InPost Mobile - you don't have to press anything on the device screen. You take out the parcel and you're done! For the second method with a code, the moment the sender sends the parcel you will receive a special email message, as well as a notification in the app. Another one will appear when the parcel is ready for collection. Select the option "Pick up the parcel" and apply the received QR code to the reader. You can also enter your phone number and the collection code received in the notification on the screen. It's really easy!

Paczkomat InPost - how long does a parcel wait?

Picking up a parcel from the machine is no problem, but how long does a parcel wait in a Parcel Machine? From the moment it is inserted by the courier to the machine, you have 48 hours to collect it. What happens if the time has passed and your parcel is still in the machine? Unfortunately, once the time limit has passed, the courier will collect the parcel during his working hours and it will be returned to the sender. If you have the InPost Mobile app, you will receive a notification when the time for collection is running out. The app will remind you even if you forget!

Can I extend my parcel collection at the Parcel Machine?

If you assume that you will not be able to collect your parcel on time, you need to know that there is an option to extend the collection of your parcel from a Parcel Machine or Parcel Service Point. What should you do? If you have less than 12 hours left to collect (or less than 24 hours for outlets with limited opening hours) and you're sure you won't make it, you can repeatedly gain another 24 hours to go and pick up your parcel.

How do you extend your parcel collection time? Use the option in the InPost Mobile app. If the parcel is still possible to extend, you will see a yellow "Extend" button. Once clicked, select your preferred payment method. Pay for the parcel collection time extension and when the process is complete, you will receive a confirmation about the parcel collection time extension. Your parcel will be waiting for you for an additional 24 hours. Remember, you can extend your parcel collection time before the 48-hour original collection time limit expires. Simple, right?
