Loop it forward and give your items a second chance!
Loop it forward: Because every item deserves a second chance
Not everything you no longer wear needs to be thrown
away. Loop forward the items you don’t use anymore and
give them a chance at a second life. Most importantly, do it
conveniently and for free.

What's next
Select packaging
You don’t have to buy a new cardboard box. If you have packaging from previous purchases at home, feel free to reuse it. Remove the old label and make sure the package can be tightly closed
What’s worth remembering:
Choose the size so that the package is filled as much as possible.
For textiles, fold the items neatly and pack them tightly.
Use natural fillers
Your parcel may move in transport, causing its contents to shift. That's why you need to fill the empty spaces so that the items are stable. This is especially important for electronics: the equipment should be secured and immobilized during transport.
What you can use instead of bubble wrap:
paper (crumpled or shredded)
biodegradable packaging "peanuts"
wood wool.
Place the code on the parcel
You already have the shipping code, so now place it on the parcel. You can write it by hand with a marker or a pen (which we encourage you to do!).
Remember:
Write the code clearly, preferably in larger characters, in a visible place.
Seal the parcel well and make sure nothing will open during transit.
If you’re reusing an old box, remove the old label and any other markings.
Loop it forward
Go to the Parcel Locker and scan the QR code or enter the shipping code on the screen.
The compartment will open automatically.
Then just:
place the parcel in the compartment,
close the door.
And that’s it. Your items are on their way to get a second life.
Prepare the items so that they can have a second life immediately: they should be clean, dry, and in good condition, with no holes or major damage. Fold clothes and other textiles and pack them as tightly as possible. Shoes or gloves should be sent in pairs. Shoes may be bundled together, but do not tie them with shoelaces. And remember not to send “empty air” in the package: the more you can fit into one package, the better.
The items you send from the Parcel Locker go to a professional company, where they are carefully checked and tested to determine whether they can be reused (in whole or in part). Those suitable for reuse are put back into circulation. If something does not meet the operator’s requirements and cannot be reused, it is sent to specialized processing facilities, where the materials are given new applications or are disposed of.
Instead of throwing things in the trash, you can give away what you no longer use. In other words, you can give your items a second life. Especially, if they are still usable and may end up with someone who can still make use of them. This can reduce the amount of waste and the need to produce new items.
However, if it cannot be reused, the item can still be useful: it is sent for recycling, where valuable raw materials are recovered and returned to circulation as materials for new products. In short: you give it away, and your items can gain a second life, which may help reduce the need to produce new items.
Yes, it is safe to send items via Parcel Lockers provided that you pack them correctly. It is easy with textiles: fold them neatly, pack them tightly, and seal the package securely (preferably in a box or poly mailer you have at hand).
If you are sending electronics, ensure extra protection: the device should be firmly secured inside and protected so that it does not get knocked around during transport.
Sending batteries may pose a risk of sparking and short circuits during transport, due to the hazardous substances they contain, such as cadmium, nickel, lead, lithium, mercury.
Clothes sent under the “Loop it forward” service are sent to VIVE Textile Recycling, which has been giving textiles a second life for over 30 years. Our partner sorts clothes into nearly 900 categories, which allows each item to be used to its fullest potential and given new value.
Donated textiles can be returned to circulation or processed into industrial wiping cloths, and used, for example, as fillings for car seats or acoustic insulation. In addition, clothing can be transformed into textile composites that are widely used in construction and architecture.
Thanks to careful handling and respect for every piece of material, your clothes are first directed toward reuse; the remainder goes to recycling/recovery. The final method depends on their condition and processing potential. This is what the circular economy of textiles is all about, and together with our partner we invite you to take part in it.
Functional electronics can be prepared for reuse (e.g. repaired or refurbished) and further managed by entities specializing in the second-hand market. In some cases, the operator may cooperate with social organizations; however, this is not a permanent element of the service nor a guaranteed destination for the items.
Not all items are suitable for reuse. Therefore, some of them may be directed to material recovery in accordance with the operator’s processing procedure.
It’s best to ask yourself a simple question: could someone realistically use this item? If the clothing, shoes, or other item you want to donate is in good condition, it is perfectly suitable for sending.
Normal signs of use are fine, as long as the item still holds its shape and is fit for “reuse” rather than disposal.
The goal of the Loop it forward campaign is to give items a second life as quickly as possible. Textiles should be complete and, ideally, in a condition that allows them to be used again.
A single shoe, one glove, or clothes without key elements (e.g. a missing belt or a missing part of a set) will usually not pass quality selection, and therefore will not be reused. This is unfortunate, as our aim is for items to return to circulation rather than end up as unusable waste.
Of course – just like with every shipment sent through a Parcel Locker.
You will be able to track your parcel sent as part of the Loop it forward service until it is handed over to the professional operator handling the items you send.
NO — do not send returns to e-commerce shops here. This is not a standard return of purchased goods, but the “Loop it forward” service, which involves a parcel of items you no longer need (e.g. clothing, books, electronics, or toys) so they can be given a second life. The shipment is sent to the service operator, where the items are sorted and assessed for potential reuse.
