How to send a letter? Simple, efficient and inexpensive dispatch by Parcel Post

Although personal correspondence and the sending of greeting cards are rare nowadays, sending a letter in an envelope is still sometimes necessary. With such circumstances in mind, we have launched our Mini parcel service. It also offers you something else - the possibility of sending a small parcel at a lower price. What exactly do we offer and how to send a letter at InPost? Read on and find out how easy it is.

What is needed to send a letter via Parcel Machine?

Sending a letter requires the purchase of a suitable envelope. If possible, try to match the size of the envelope to the size of the correspondence you want to deliver to the recipient. This will reduce the risk of damage to the letter. In a well-fitting envelope, the sheets of paper will not shift and will not crease or tear.

If you are particularly concerned about keeping your parcel as protected as possible, choose a special envelope. Ordinary foil, and even more so bubble wrap, will further protect its valuable contents. This way, you won't have to think about how to fill the letter without damaging it.

How do I fill in the data on the envelope to be posted with InPost Mobile? Well, as the sender, you don't have to do that at all! We also do not require you to affix a label. We have simplified the process of sending parcels to a minimum.

All you need to do is enter all the necessary information in the Send Parcel section of the InPost Mobile application. Then all you have to do is choose a Parcel Machine and place the parcel there.

Mini parcel refers to the smallest and cheapest package size that can be sent via Parcel Post. We offer transport of parcel sizes:

• minimal - 4 cm deep x 10 cm wide x 15 cm long;
• maximum - 4 cm deep x 23 cm wide x 40 cm long.

How to send a letter with InPost? Sending a parcel is easier than you think

Since addressing the envelope is not necessary, it is worth remembering how to send the letter correctly in the InPost Mobile application. Importantly, sending correspondence is only possible via Paczkomat.

Instead, we offer three methods of collecting your parcel. The first is to deliver the parcel to one of our machines. We also offer customers special pick-up points - PaczkoPunkts. In addition, we have made it possible for letters to be delivered by courier directly to your home.

The process of sending a letter in InPost Mobile itself is very simple. There are 9 steps to go through.

1. Select either the Parcel-Packet or Parcel-Home section.
2. Click on the Mini option to indicate the size of the consignment.
3. Enter the recipient's personal and contact details.
4. Mark the Parcel Machine or Parcel Point on the map. You can also manually enter its address as you would for a letter delivery to the recipient's home.
5. Click Select and Next.
6. Enter your personal details, telephone number and email address.
7. Select the method of payment.
8. Once redirected to the payment operator, follow the on-screen instructions.

Done! Your letter will soon reach its addressee.

Not just letters. What little can still be sent via Parcel Machine?

As we mentioned in the introduction, the Mini parcel service offers transport of small items. The rules of carriage are similar to those described for letters.

In other words, bear in mind the minimum and maximum sizes of the parcels we accept. In addition, bear in mind the upper weight limit. A parcel can weigh a maximum of 3 kg.

What will we do for you? We will transport such things as:

• notebooks and notepads;
• books with dimensions according to our guidelines;
• small garments such as scarves, hats or gloves;
• other items used on a daily basis, such as sunglasses;
