A labelled parcel - what is it?

A parcel with a label is simply a parcel with a so-called transport document affixed to the top of the package. The label contains all the information necessary to complete the transport - details of the sender and recipient or the package number. There is also a barcode, which needs to be scanned at the Paczkomat® machine or PaczkoPunkt. The sender generates the labels for their parcels themselves. The label helps couriers, sorting staff and branches to manage the parcel, identify it and deliver it to the right place.

Posting in a Paczkomat® machine is possible for four maximum parcel sizes. In the case of dimensions A, B and C, the weight may not exceed 25 kilograms.

Posting a parcel in a Paczkomat® machine with a label is possible throughout Poland. Currently, the machines are located in large cities, smaller towns and small villages. The number of machines is constantly growing, and the nearest one can be found via the InPost website or the InPost Mobile application.

Instructions for sending a parcel with a label via Parcel Machine®

When you want to send a parcel via Parcel Machine®, a label is one of several ways to do so. To obtain one, you need to go to the Fast Shipment website and then complete the shipment form. You will need details such as the size of the parcel, contact information of the sender and recipient, their e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. Finally, you still need to pay for the service and print out the shipping document.

The label goes almost immediately to the sender's mailbox. It should be printed and affixed to the parcel. You can place it in document wrap or courier cling film - it will then be best protected. If you don't have these things, then wrap it carefully with transparent tape. This is so that it will not be damaged in transit. Remember not to tape over the barcode. Stick the label in a visible place.

When you're all set, it's time to find out how to send a parcel with a label in a Parcel Machine®. Head to any machine in your area. Walk up to the screen and select the option to send a parcel. Then click on the button with your parcel label information. Approach the barcode from the document to the reader or enter the sending code on the screen and wait for the box door to open.

Put the package inside and close it there. On the device screen, click that you want to complete the shipment. That's all you need to do to get the parcel on its way to the recipient.

How to send a parcel with a label using the Parcel Manager? This is yet another option offered by InPost. You need to go to the carrier's website and then log in to your account in the system. Under the 'Send parcels' tab, you will see a form that allows you to generate a shipping document. Fill it in, then print out the label and follow the same steps as for Quick Shipments. Go to the Parcel Machine® and send your parcel out into the world.
