Gemius: 95% of respondents rate Paczkomat® InPost machines as the most motivating for online shopping

25 September 2025
Interest in courier services is declining, but InPost is gaining, and by as much as 8 p.p. This time there are as many as 3 main prizes to be won!
The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry in Europe, has been setting trends in the e-commerce delivery market for years - as confirmed by the Gemius 2025 survey. The most popular form of delivery for online shopping invariably remains the InPost parcel machines, chosen by more than 87% of respondents. InPost machines are also indicated by 95% of respondents as the most motivating for online shopping.
At a time when e-commerce trends are evolving by the day, InPost is not only keeping up with the changes, but also creating the future of delivery by continually maintaining its leadership position. The latest Gemius study for 2025 does not point to disruptive changes in delivery for the e-commerce industry. Consumers rely on solutions that are convenient, fast and efficient, which is why Paczkomat® InPost machines, continue to be the most motivating and most frequently chosen form of delivery and return, emphasises Izabela Karolczyk-Szafrańska, Chief Marketing & ESG Officer, InPost . - InPost has been a pioneer among innovative solutions for years - it was the first to introduce remote pick-ups from Paczkomat machines, parcel tracking and label-free posting. Thanks to this, it has built a strong market advantage - currently more than 50% of respondents use remote collection and ¾ of users highly rate the quality of parcel tracking in mobile channels, he adds.
According to the respondents of the Gemius report entitled: 'E-commerce in Poland in 2025', InPost parcel machines are the most frequently chosen delivery method - 87% of the respondents indicated this form as the most preferred one. They are particularly popular among the youngest respondents: as many as 94% of those aged 15-24 choose delivery by InPost machines. Parcel machines are also highly regarded when it comes to returns, with 91% of respondents preferring to make their returns via Paczkomat InPost. The report highlights the declining interest in traditional courier services - with the exception of InPost, which managed to increase its share by an impressive 8 percentage points. Courier services offered by DPD - down 5 percentage points - and DHL - down 2 percentage points - are losing out.
As indicated by those surveyed by Gemius, the proximity of Paczkomat® machines is a key factor for 88% of consumers shopping online. InPost, which has the largest network of over 27,500 parcel machines in Poland, meets these expectations. The ability to manage parcels via an app (78%) and parcel tracking options (85%) were also among the most important factors driving online shopping. Both of these features have been launched by InPost and are available on the InPost Mobile app - further enhancing the brand's appeal.
InPost's position as the market leader in postal and courier services is reflected not only in the Gemius report, but also in the latest UKE data. As many as 71.8% of respondents indicated InPost as the main postal service operator they use - leaving all the competition far behind. The second place in this ranking was taken by DPD with a result of 9.7%, followed by Pocztex - 6.5%, DHL - 6.4%, Allegro (OneKurier) - 1.8%, and Ruch (Orlen Paczka) - 1.4%.
