Do your very best.

When did your adventure with sport begin?

I have been involved in sport since I was a child; it has always been part of my life.

Do you practise any other sports, do you sometimes try something different?

I am curious about new things and disciplines, but I am 100% committed to javelin throwing and I try to develop my skills mainly in this area.

Who or what motivates you to train regularly?

I don't think there is anyone who needs to motivate me. I have inner self-discipline and it pushes me to be better. The thought that I want to be better than previous versions of myself helps me a lot.

What do you consider your greatest personal or professional success?

I consider my life success to be the kind of person I am, that I have inner determination for what I do in sport and in life.

What is your life motto?

No one looks at how hard you train, only what you have achieved in competition, so give it your all.

Your biggest dream?

I would like to show the whole world that what is generally considered impossible can be achieved by a young, determined lad.

Who inspires you? Do you have an idol?

I try to be a person who strives to become an even better version of myself, so I don't model myself on anyone. However, I am impressed by Conor McGregor's achievements.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

As a happy, fulfilled person with a successful life, which I define for myself.

Your best result, your most important record?

The most important record, which paradoxically is not a personal best — but is very important to me — is a throw of over 74 m 700 g with a javelin. It was at my first European Youth Olympic Festival. I went there with the fourth best result, and I won by a margin of 6 m.

What do you think: is breaking records a matter of luck or hard training?

I think that hard work in training only reflects physical ability, but not everyone can handle the pressure. So I believe that competition results are supported by hard work and mental perseverance.

How do you spend your free time?

I love cars. It's my passion and I spend a lot of my free time doing that and with my girlfriend.

If you weren't an athlete, you would be...?

I would be a soldier or do something related to cars.
