Do you appreciate the work your InPost courier does? Your parcels always arrive on time? Now you can thank them for their first-class delivery - and not just with words.

On the occasion of Courier and Carrier Day, together with the BuyCoffee platform, we are starting to pilot a new functionality in the InPost Mobile app. Thanks to it, each user, as a token of gratitude for their diligent work, can give their courier a virtual coffee . ☕

Coffee for the courier - how does it work?

When you pick up your shipment, the app will ask you to rate the delivery on a scale of 1 to 5 stars ⭐, where 1 star means something didn't quite play out and 5 stars means a dream delivery.

Once 4 or 5 stars have been awarded, a suggestion to place a virtual coffee with the courier will appear on the screen. There is a choice of coffees:

• small (£3),
• average (£5)
• or large (£10).

You can also enter own amount .

Your gesture will be handled by the BuyCoffee platform, through which the payment will go directly to the courier.

Don't have time to assess delivery right away?

If you have not been able to award stars directly after receiving the parcel. You will find this option within 7 days in the InPost Mobile app:

• on your consignment list upon receipt of the package,
• on your list of archived shipments , with the courier parcel having changed its status to "Delivered".

Each payment is assigned to a specific consignment and therefore to a specific courier. 🚚📦

If you are collecting parcels from multiscreens or multiple shipments at one time, the value of the Virtual Coffee will be divided equally between all couriers who have delivered your parcels.

You can give a virtual coffee to an InPost courier thanks to a partnership with the BuyCoffee platform.

When can I buy a coffee for the courier?

You can buy the courier a symbolic virtual coffee if you rate the delivery 4 or 5 stars.

Can I choose the courier to whom I put my virtual coffee?

In the InPost Mobile app, you select a specific parcel you want to thank for. It can be a parcel collected in a Paczkomat device, at a PaczkoPunkt or directly from a courier.

Each virtual coffee is assigned to a specific consignment and, therefore, to a specific courier.

What does the specific number of stars given to the delivery assessment mean?

When assessing a delivery, we want to know, among other things, whether the package was delivered on time and in good condition.

Here is what the specific number of stars means:

• 5 stars - Very good, top-quality delivery,
• 4 stars - well, everything went smoothly,
• 3 stars - neutrally, the delivery was fine,
• 2 stars - bad, the quality of delivery was below expectations,
• 1 star - very badly, something was definitely not right.

Remember: every rating is subjective - give as many stars as you feel is right.

Will the courier find out it's from me?

No, virtual coffee is anonymous.

Why didn't the option to donate coffee appear after giving 4-5 stars for delivery?

The option to donate virtual coffee only appears if the courier has an active BuyCoffee account. If you do not see this option, it means that the courier has not decided to join the "Coffee for Courier" programme and thus participate in the action. Participation in the action is entirely voluntary.

Will the virtual coffee go directly to the courier?

Yes. Couriers have individual accounts on the BuyCoffee platform, from which they can collect funds earmarked for a token coffee.

Is it compulsory to put a virtual coffee on the courier?

Absolutely not. It's just a suggestion - a form of recognition if you feel you want to appreciate your courier's work. Now you can make his day. It's your initiative and your gesture!

How do I pay for virtual coffee?

Payment for virtual coffee is made through the InPost Pay service. The service is free of charge and offers the most popular forms of payment: BLIK, Visa/Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay.

The courier has delivered my parcel to the Parcel Machine. Can I buy him a virtual coffee?

Yes! The option to place a virtual coffee with the courier applies to all delivery methods. 😊 You can use this option regardless of how the parcel was received.

Can I buy the courier a virtual coffee for each parcel delivered?

Yes, the option to bet the courier a virtual coffee is available with every delivery.

You can also use this function once you have received your parcel. All you have to do is go into the details of your parcel. The coffee time applies as long as you see your parcel in the app in the list of all parcels.

Can I buy the courier a virtual coffee when I pick up my package from Multiscreen?

As much as possible. If your Multiskrytka has parcels delivered by different couriers, the amount paid will be divided between them.

How will I find out that the courier has received a virtual coffee?

Once the payment has been made, you will receive an email confirmation from Aion Bank (soon to be UniCredit), the payment operator of InPost Pay. The courier, on the other hand, will be informed that the payment has been received by the BuyCoffe platform.

How much does a virtual coffee cost for a courier?

It's up to you. On the app, you have a choice of coffee: small (£3), medium (£5) or large (£10). If you want, you can also enter your own amount.

Where can I report a problem with the virtual coffee service?
