Send help - donate InCoins to purchase AED defibrillators
13 August 2025
Together with the Rescue Centre, we are launching a public campaign as part of the civic rescue idea to increase access to AED defibrillators in Poland.
This time we are sending something special via Parcel Machine - aid. And all thanks to actions in the InPost Mobile app . Thanks to you and your InCoins, we will mount a Parcel Machine on the side of selected machines. 100 Helpbox 365 stations equipped with, among other things, AED defibrillators.
In this way, we are beginning to fill in the "white spots" on the map of Poland - places where there is no AED defibrillator.
A parcel machine with the power to save lives
As part of the campaign, we are making available our greatest superpower - the the Paczkomat® network in Poland - which you always have on your way.
Helpbox 365 stations can be found on the side of selected machines on housing estates, in town centres, near shops or petrol stations - ready for use 24/7 to significantly increase the chance of rapid intervention in the event of sudden cardiac arrest.
How to support the action? It's simple!
- Go to the "Rewards" tab in the InPost Mobile app.
- Click 'Donate InCoins and support the purchase of an AED'.
- Select the number of InCoins you wish to donate to purchase the defibrillator (minimum 20).
And done!
As the organiser of the action, we encourage you to help and thank you for increasing the availability of AED defibrillators in Poland with us. In this way, we take care of our common safety. 💛
What is an AED defibrillator?
The Automated External Defibrillator is a piece of equipment that saves lives where sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) - when the heart stops beating properly and blood flow to the brain, lungs and other organs is stopped.
Rapid defibrillation - ideally within 3-5 minutes of sudden cardiac arrest - can increase the chance of survival even up to 70%* .
Thanks to the AED defibrillator, without medical training You can help effectively. The device analyses the victim's heart rhythm itself and explains "step-by-step" vocally what to do.
Why is this important?
As many as 80% of sudden cardiac arrests that are reported occur outside the hospital, i.e. at home or in a public place: at school, in the street, on public transport. In such cases, the estimated the chance of survival is only 5-7%** .
Fortunately, the use of an AED defibrillator significantly increases these chances. The decisive factor, however, is time, specifically 3-5 minutes from the onset of the first symptoms.
How and when to use an AED?
You see that the person around you:
- is not breathing or is breathing incorrectly,
- lost consciousness?
Call for help by dialling 112, then turn on the defibrillator , listen and follow his instructions.
💡 No worries - if you are acting in good faith and in accordance with the principle of saving lives, you can and have the right to use an AED defibrillator without training. The AED is designed so that anyone can use it.
