For the fourth time, WoshWosh is launching a footwear collection for people affected by homelessness. During last year's edition, the brand helped more than half of those in need in Poland! At InPost, we are also doing our bit and supporting this year's campaign as a Logistics Partner.
Donate, don't throw away
WoshWosh is our home-grown company that combines shoe restoration, cleaning, personalisation and repair services. The brand not only encourages everyone to live an eco and zero waste lifestyle, i.e. giving a second life to old shoes instead of buying new ones, but also often initiates campaigns for a good cause. This approach is very close to our values, which is why this year, together with other partners, we are supporting the collection of shoes for those most in need.
Real help during winter
The approaching winter is an extremely difficult time for people experiencing homelessness, of whom there are as many as 35,000 in Poland. Without appropriate clothing and footwear, every day is a struggle for survival . "Homelessness for me is not just a lack of housing, but also depriving those people on the street of hope, of support in another person, of surrendering to a fate that is very often merciless. That is why this year's collection is particularly special for me, both in terms of the number of partners with whom we are going to carry it out, but also in terms of preparing the entire logistical background so that we can prepare and donate as many shoes as possible," says Martyna Zastawna, initiator of the collection and founder of WoshWosh.
We join forces and... help!
Together we can do more - at InPost we strongly believe in this slogan, which is why we wholeheartedly support the campaign as its Logistics Partner. We provide 1,000 free codes for sending parcels, and thus a fast and convenient way of handing over the shoes to the collection organisers.
Supporting this year's campaign is real help that starts with a small gesture and ends with thousands of pairs of shoes collected, cleaned and delivered to those most in need.
Want to help? Great! You can do it in a few simple ways:
- Bring your shoes to one of the 19 Decathlon shops - the main partner of the campaign.
- Deliver the shoes in person to WoshWosh's head office, which is located at 57/65 Międzyborska Street in Warsaw, or send them to the same address - it is important that the parcel be marked "Shoes for the homeless",
- Send shoes via InPost, which, as a partner of the action, guarantees 1,000 free parcels via Parcel Post (to get a code for shipping, just send an email to: napiszdonas@woshwosh.pl)
