The dynamic development of the Paczkomaty InPost network not only means the continuous evolution of the logistics market in Poland, but also enables customers to take advantage of the most environmentally friendly form of delivery. At InPost, we feel responsible for the environment and every day we convince how important it is to order parcels with Paczkomaty delivery.
Parcel machines are ECO. This is not an empty platitude, a marketing slogan or an empty statement. We know that in this day and age, caring for the environment is a particularly important issue - especially for logistics companies that deliver parcels to customers every day. What's more, with the rapid growth of the e-commerce industry, education about environmentally friendly delivery methods and product packaging is particularly important. We are proving that Parcel Post is not only a convenient and fast way to deliver everyday online shopping, but also a great benefit to the environment.
The proprietary carbon footprint calculator we developed indicates that if traditional supply courier home delivery has been replaced by Parcel Machine® delivery, reduction in CO 2 for each parcel would reach up to 75%. . Delivering a parcel to an InPost machine means at least 0.35 kg less CO 2 into the atmosphere for each parcel. Importantly, we have also included the carbon footprint of the person receiving the parcel at the Parcel Post in our calculations.
This means that One Parcel Machine can save up to 52 kg of CO 2 which, on an annual basis, even 14 ton CO 2 !
What does this mean in practice? Here are some examples:

One flight from Warsaw to London generates about 22 tonnes of CO 2 . Just two Parcel Posters per year are enough to reduce the emissions of such a flight.

The average CO 2 that a European car produces is 120 g per kilometre of distance travelled. Assuming that the average driver drives an average of 20,000 km per year, The delivery of parcels to just one Parcel Machine means 'taking almost 6 cars off the road' per year.

On average, each of us emits 8 tonnes of CO 2 . This is a huge number. Each Parcel Machine reduces the annual consumption of CO 2 for almost 2 people!
The carbon footprint of Parcel Machine deliveries can be even lower if our arrival at the machine is also environmentally neutral - if we pick up the parcel on our way to work or while shopping, if we walk or cycle to it. We want to encourage you to do this, which is why we are gradually expanding our network of Parcel Machines.
