InPost app has 5.2 million active users
InPost - the leader in modern logistics in Poland - has implemented a new service for sending parcels via an app. The parcels are sent at Paczkomat® InPost devices - to a second Paczkomat® device or to a specified address of the recipient. There is no need to stick any labels on the parcel - just a QR code or a sending code in the app. You can pay for your parcel with a BLIK code. Further payment options will appear in the app at the beginning of 2021: payment card, fast transfers (pay-by-link), Apple Pay, Google Pay. The status of a sent parcel can be tracked in the app, of course, but also on the inpost.pl website in the "Tracking a parcel" section and via chatbot by entering the 24-digit parcel number.
„ This is the first such innovative solution in Poland, i.e. a convenient mobile parcel service - 24/7, for each of the more than 5.2 million active users of the InPost app. This is a response to the needs of consumers - we offer a service that is fully label-free, and therefore convenient and fast. Now everyone - wherever they are, whatever they are doing - has an option that will allow them to send a parcel at any time, in any place - thanks to sending in the InPost Mobile app. With this, we are fulfilling the promise we made and taking another significant step in making our app the centre of parcel management. We are offering Poles a technological leap - no more sending parcels in outlets or shops! " - points out Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
Each shipment can be posted and collected at the device via the free mobile application InPost Mobile, which also offers the option to open the box remotely. The app already has 5.2 million active users and records several hundred thousand remote openings per day . The software was on the podium of the download list in the Google Play and Appstore for eight weeks. Thanks to the app, several people can receive parcels at the same time with one device®, without having to stand in a queue. The InPost Mobile app can be downloaded from the Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery shops.
