Who is Von Halsky? He’s an AI shopping assistant you’ll find in the InPost Mobile app, helping you shop without leaving your phone. Just say what you’re looking for in your own words, and he’ll find the best options for you. Meet your new shopping companion!
Who is Von Halsky?
Von Halsky is an AI-powered shopping assistant that combines engaging conversation with access to a wide range of products, all in one place - in the InPost Mobile app. He takes the form of a friendly, yellow dog, and it’s no coincidence that his name sounds like ‘wąchalski’: he has a nose for the best bargains and can sniff them out amongst a sea of offers!
You’ll find the Assistant in the section Shop on the app’s home screen, under the dog icon. To start a chat, you’ll need InPost Mobile version 4.13 or later on an iOS or Android phone, as Von Halsky doesn’t work in a web browser. All you need to do is log in to the app to start a conversation.

- Compare products - compare the prices and specifications of selected offers available on the app.
- Find inspiration - find the best price for your favourite product, or even a gift idea.
What can you use Von Halski for?
By Halsky It will help you shop quickly and conveniently, as it takes care of the most tedious part of the search. Instead of browsing through dozens of product pages across multiple shops yourself, you simply describe what you need once, and the assistant tailors the results to exactly what you’re looking for.
What can you buy with the help of Von Halski?
In the InPost Mobile app, you’ll find almost every product category – from pet food and accessories, through household cleaning products and groceries, right through to electronics. In each category, the assistant will narrow down the selection to match your requirements:

The range of suggestions depends on how you phrase your question. The more precisely you describe the situation, the more accurately Von Halsky will select suggestions. You can specify the product’s intended use, your favourite brand, or the amount you do not wish to exceed. See how the suggestions change when you add even just one detail. If you’re not quite sure what to look out for, you can ask Von Halski to ask you the right questions.
How does Von Halsky work?
Von Halski’s approach is based on conversation. You describe what you need, and within moments it searches through the listings and displays the products in a carousel that you can scroll through like a photo gallery. You don’t need to know the exact name or set any filters; all you need is a natural question such as ‘I’m looking for a warm winter jacket for up to 300 zł’.
Shopping by text or voice
An interview with Von Halski You drive however you like. You can type your query in the chat or use the voice function, by tapping the wave icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Von Halsky remembers your basic preferences, such as sizes, colours and favourite brands, so that over time its suggestions become increasingly accurate.
From enquiry to finished parcel
The assistant labels the cheapest offers as ‘Price Smashes’, and you’ll find special offers in the ‘Bargains’ tab.
The rest of your shopping is done within the same app:
- Favourites - you can save the product for later by tapping the heart,
- Shopping basket and purchase - you complete your order without leaving the app,
- InPost delivery – you collect your parcel from a Paczkomat® parcel locker or from a courier,
- Payment - you pay using BLIK, a card or Apple Pay,
- Orders and payments - In this tab, you can view your purchase history.
Remember that the whole process, from your enquiry to the payment of your parcel, takes place within the InPost Mobile app, so you don’t need to switch between different websites and apps. Save any product you’re interested in to your Favourites by tapping the heart icon. This makes it easy to return to it and complete your purchase at a time that suits you. You can view your previous conversations with Von Halski via the History tab.

Is Von Halsky an AI?
Von Halsky is an AI-powered assistant. It is thanks to this that it understands everyday, colloquial language and responds as if you were talking to a helpful adviser.
Artificial intelligence enables it to understand the meaning of your query, even if you don’t specify a particular product name. Von Halsky understands and responds by Polish, English and Ukrainian, and you’ll start the conversation in the language you’re most comfortable with. The model handles the nuances of our speech well, from word inflections to colloquial expressions.
Why did InPost create Von Halski?
InPost created Von Halskiego in response to changes in online shopping and what customers expect from it. As the report ‘E-commerce in Poland 2025’ (Gemius) shows, As many as 64 per cent of respondents are motivated to shop online by the wider range of products available compared with traditional shops, whilst 60 per cent cited the ease of comparing offers. Today’s shoppers therefore want a wide and transparent range of products in one place, as well as efficient delivery.

More and more often, shopping begins with a complex need rather than a single specific brand name. Von Halsky was set up to translate that need into specific proposals and shorten the path from idea to purchase. Fast delivery is a natural part of this process, as purchases made with the assistant are delivered to you by courier or to a Paczkomat parcel locker®. This makes the journey from idea to parcel collection short and predictable, and you can fit in the collection to suit your daily routine – after work or whilst running other errands.
Is shopping with Von Halski free?
Von Halsky is completely free For every user of the InPost Mobile app, all you need to do is log in to start a conversation and search. You don’t pay for the assistant’s help or for its suggestions.
What are the benefits of shopping with InPost Mobile?
Every user can now make use of:
- Free delivery to a Paczkomat® parcel locker for orders of 59 zł or more from a single seller,
- Free courier delivery for orders of 99 zł or more from a single seller, for parcels weighing up to 30 kg,
- Free returns via Paczkomat® unlimited, regardless of the value of your purchases.
Make sure you place your order with a single retailer, as the free delivery threshold is calculated separately for each one. Free returns via Paczkomat®, however, have no minimum spend requirement, so you can easily send back anything that doesn’t meet your expectations.
