Ecology and caring for the planet is embedded in the DNA of the InPost brand. This time, we are doing our bit for the green transformation of the capital! We have become the Main Partner of the Green Fund for Warsaw, thanks to which there will be more multicoloured greenery in the city and another miniature park will be created.
The Green Fund is an innovative platform for working with businesses that want to get involved in the green transformation of the city. Its main objective is to support Warsaw in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, according to which cities should increase the share of forests and green spaces.
We are constantly creating and implementing new sustainable development projects, which is why we were keen to join the capital in supporting AdaptCity - Warsaw's climate change adaptation strategy. To date, we have contributed more than £500,000 from our Green City programme budget to the Fund. Our activities under the InPost Green City programme support cities in meeting their priorities and respond to the needs of their residents.
The programme allows us, among other things, to gradually expand our electric delivery fleet and introduce new environmentally friendly services such as the #reParcel service for electric returns.
"For several years now, we have been initiating and implementing sustainability and climate protection projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere. As a responsible e-commerce market leader, however, we are constantly raising the bar higher and higher! Our cooperation with local authorities as part of the InPost Green City programme is a partnership, and as a result we are introducing solutions that are not only tailored to the needs of local residents, but also ones that support cities in the implementation of their priorities." - Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost, emphasises.
