We are not slowing down! InPost in the first quarter of 2022 increased revenues by 94% to PLN 1.54 billion

At InPost, we are growing at an express pace! The beginning of the year has been very dynamic for us and even more developmental. In the first quarter of 2022, we increased our revenue by 94% to PLN 1.54 billion share in key markets, which strengthened InPost's position as a leader among e-commerce delivery platforms. We handled 164.2 million parcels during this period, which represents growth of 68%!
Our network of Paczkomat® InPost vending machines is expanding in all markets - in the first quarter of the year as many as 1,905 new machines.
In the first quarter of 2022, InPost's share of the Polish market increased by 16% , with market growth of 15%. In the UK, despite the e-commerce market declining by more than a fifth in Q1, volumes increased by 157%, and in France, the company's strong C2C business increased volumes by 8%, against a market decline of 16%.
Number of people using InPost parcel machines grew by 13% year-on-year in Poland, exceeding 15.3 million users .
More than 400,000 new users installed the InPost Mobile app in the first quarter and is already used by 9.6 million people! Our aim is to build consumer awareness and spread the Paczkomat InPost delivery form among the population of the whole of Europe.
Currently, already 57% of Poles have access to an InPost parcel machine within a 7-minute walk from where you live.
"The fact that already 57% of Poles have a Parcel Machine® near their home has a positive impact on customer satisfaction with e-commerce services, especially as for an increasing number of people, going green matters." - said Rafał Brzoska , CEO of InPost, emphasising that compared to door-to-door courier deliveries, services using Paczkomat machines reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%.
An important element of InPost's activities in the area of sustainable development and social responsibility is to help the war-affected people of Ukraine. To date, together with, among others, Caritas Poland and the Polish Red Cross we sent more than 6,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. In response to the needs of refugees, we have also introduced a Ukrainian language version of the InPost Mobile app and our websites.
According to the latest report from research agency Kantar, j me 94% of Poles choose Paczkomat InPost as their delivery method, and the NPS index - which determines the level of customer satisfaction - for parcel collections and deliveries at our machines remains at a very high 75-point level.
