Send help – send a care parcel!
17 September 2024
We encourage you to take part in this initiative, where you can put together and send, free of charge, a parcel containing essential items for those affected by the floods.
In response to the tragic consequences of the natural disaster that has affected many families in southern Poland, InPost has launched a special initiative, offering the opportunity to put together and send parcels containing relief items free of charge via Paczkomat®. These parcels are sent to the Polish Red Cross (PCK) warehouse, which then distributes them to those in need. Thanks to our partnership with the Polish Red Cross, your help will quickly reach those affected by the floods.
How can you help?
1. Put the parcel together
Gather first-aid supplies, such as:
- food with a long shelf life (including flour, groats, rice, pasta, tinned food, powdered food and milk)
- bottled water
- personal hygiene products
- nappies
- other support materials
Do not send fresh food or items that are likely to be damaged in transit (glass, etc.).
The parcel must not exceed the overall dimensions of category C – maximum dimensions 41 × 38 × 64 cm, weighing no more than 25 kg.
2. Send a parcel for free
Go to inpost.pl/pomoc2024 and complete the dispatch form. We do not charge any fees for dispatching parcels.
You do not need to provide a delivery address – parcels sent via the website provided will be forwarded to the PCK warehouse in Bielany Wrocławskie. From there, they will be distributed to those affected by the flooding.
3. Write the consignment code and the phrase ‘PCK WROCŁAW’ on the parcel
You do not need to print a label – once you have completed the form, you will receive a tracking code. Write the code clearly on the parcel in a visible place (e.g. using a marker pen). Next to the tracking code, write ‘PCK WROCŁAW’.
4. Post your parcel via an InPost Parcel Locker
Find a nearby parcel locker and scan the QR code from the InPost app or your email by holding it up to the scanner. You can also enter the tracking number on the screen. Place the parcel in the locker. Please note that the parcel must not exceed the dimensions of the largest parcel locker (41 × 38 × 64 cm).
Together, we can achieve more
In these difficult times, every gesture of solidarity matters immensely. InPost is making its logistics network available to quickly collect and deliver aid parcels to where they are most needed.
As part of this campaign, you can generate more than one tracking code if you wish to send more parcels. One tracking code will allow you to open one locker. Please place just one parcel in each locker – it’s a good idea to put together a parcel that will fill the locker properly.
We encourage you to ask your friends, family or neighbours to put together a parcel with you or to send one of their own!
