The InPost Group, has concluded an agreement with Polenergia - Poland's largest private energy group. Thanks to this cooperation, nearly 24,000 Paczkomat® machines in Poland and a significant part of the fleet of 1,300 electric cars will be powered by green energy ! 💚⚡
- The PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) is a key step in the implementation of InPost's Decarbonisation Strategy. Thanks to it, the Group will reduce CO2e emissions by almost 125,000 tonnes !
- The Dębsk Wind Farm, one of the largest in Poland, will produce around 366 GWh per year, corresponding to the demand of 183,000 households.

Over the past few years, the InPost Group has been implementing a number of measures to reduce energy consumption in its operations - each new model of Parcel Machine ® is characterised by lower electricity requirements. In addition, it introduces autonomous devices, i.e. Parcel Machines ® fitted with photovoltaic panels i energy storage facilities which are able to produce energy for themselves and several appliances in the area.
InPost is using modern systems to manage and control energy consumption in its new warehouses and is installing photovoltaic panels. It is also looking for a zero-emission heating method - in several facilities heat pumps have been used instead of gas heating in the office area, but also in the warehouse area.
