An unexpected trip to the seaside, a weekend getaway to visit your parents, or maybe just plain busy and no time to pick up your parcel? We are aware that such situations happen and can derail your plans. Relax! As they say: sometimes even the proverbial Fast Bill needs a rest.
In response to such surprises, we have prepared something special for you: from now on, every user of the InPost Mobile app can extend the time their parcel stays in a Paczkomat o 24 h at extra cost £7.99 . The service of extending the stay of a parcel in a Parcel Machine can be used repeatedly, although... it is worth having space for parcels from other Parcel Machine enthusiasts.
How does this option work? In the app, a yellow button will appear in the tracking list and in the shipment details Extend (The button will be visible 12 h before the collection deadline or 24 h for InPost points with limited opening hours). The extension is as simple as sending a parcel without a label - just click on the aforementioned yellow button and pay everything using the payment method of your choice (BLIK, DotPay fast transfers and payment card). You will find information about the updated parcel collection date in the app on the tracking screen or in the parcel details.
There are important things and there are more important things, which is why we are declaring an end to worries about whether everything will go according to plan and whether you will be able to collect your parcel within 48 hours - a visit to a Parcel Machine can really be a bargain! We are convinced that you will like the new option and will use it whenever your plans change unexpectedly. We would like to inform you that the option of extending the pick-up time via SMS Premium has been disabled and from now on, this option will be available only from the level of the InPost Mobile application.
