12 InPost logistics centres throughout Poland
InPost will open a new 8100 sq m sorting facility at Panattoni Park Lublin III. Its location in the vicinity of an international airport, a railway terminal and in close proximity to the eastern border of the European Union creates optimal conditions for both domestic and international distribution.
Thus, InPost will already have 12 logistics centres at its disposal: five Panattoni spaces, the existing, expanded central sorting facility at the P3 Piotrków warehouse park, two sorting facilities at the new logistics parks - 7R Park Sosnowiec and 7R Park Warsaw, as well as modern facilities at the MLP Poznań West, MLP Gliwice and MLP Wrocław West logistics parks and KJF Kraków Balice.
"InPost currently has the most extensive infrastructure among all logistics operators in Poland. The volumes of parcels we handle are also breaking records - in 2019 we recorded significant double-digit growth again. Our trump card is the speed of delivery - we invariably maintain a D+1 efficiency for Paczkomat® machines, which is why we continue to expand our network and the machines already in operation. We can boast a very high utilisation rate for Paczkomat® machines - most parcels are collected a few hours after delivery. In 2020, we will be launching further logistics hubs, investing in an environmentally friendly vehicle fleet and further expanding our network coverage." - indicates Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
Demand for InPost's services is growing steadily - the number of machines (6000 in Poland) has exceeded the scale of Poczta Polska's own outlets (4600 [1] ).
This is already Panattoni's third distribution and logistics centre in the Lublin region. The noticeable increase in the investment attractiveness of Lublin and the whole of Eastern Poland is due to several factors. One of the most important is the progress made in recent years in transport infrastructure. These include the new Lublin bypass, the construction of express road No. 17, which will significantly shorten the access to Warsaw (191 km), or the S19 route between Lublin and Rzeszów. The latter is part of the construction of the Via Carpatia route - a pan-European transport corridor linking north and south Europe, from Lithuania via Białystok, Lublin, Rzeszów - all the way to Greece. Its completion will effectively connect the regions of Eastern Poland with the rest of the country, Europe and the world". - explains Dorota Jagodzińska, Managing Director Panattoni.
