When you have to move abroad, there are many things to consider when it comes to finding a flat. However, the standard of your new home depends not only on what you find there. What you take with you from Poland also has a huge impact on your quality of life.
Fortunately You can send a wide range of items of various sizes and weights via Paczkomat®, and then collect them in another country. This option is available at InPost parcel machines and those operating under the Mondial Relay brand.

Where can I send luggage abroad with InPost?
You won’t need to transport a lot of luggage if you’re planning to move to: Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. You can send luggage from Poland to these countries.
All you need to do is pack your items into a box, post your parcel in Poland via Paczkomat® or visit a PaczkoPunkt for this purpose. You can then collect your parcels in person in any of the countries listed conveniently via Paczkomat® or PaczkoPunkt – whichever you prefer!
Sending luggage abroad – available parcel sizes
As part of the InPost service, you can send items of many different sizes, including some really large and heavy ones. What’s more, their maximum weight, regardless of size, is as much as 25 kg. We offer three options:
- Dimensions A – 8 cm x 38 cm x 64 cm;
- Dimensions B – 19 cm x 38 cm x 64 cm;
- Dimensions C – 39 cm x 38 cm x 64 cm.
The price of the service depends on the dimensions of the parcel. You’ll pay the least for a parcel that’s 8 cm high. If you’re planning to send a larger parcel, don’t worry – you can also send these abroad at attractive prices.
A suitcase for moving house and future trips
InPost Parcel Suitcase It has a capacity of 56 litres, so it will hold the clothes and accessories you’ll need at the start of your stay. Adjustable straps inside help keep the contents in place, and the built-in three-digit combination lock allows you to secure the suitcase with a code. Once you’ve moved house, you’ll be able to use it for future trips – including those where you send some of your luggage via a parcel locker. A suitcase You can also take the following with you: four swivel wheels make it easier to manoeuvre. This means that a single product will serve you well both when travelling to your new location and should you need to post it.
How do I pack a parcel to send it abroad via Paczkomat®?
To ensure the parcel is transported safely Make sure its contents are properly secured. Fill any gaps with perforated paper, cardboard or another protective material.
Next, seal the parcel securely with tape. It’s a good idea to buy the paper version. For extra protection, you can also wrap it in cling film or paper.
Examples of Items to be sent via a parcel locker when moving house These include: books, cosmetics, textiles, clothing, footwear, small electronic devices, toys, documents, accessories and sports equipment. Remember to estimate the weight and volume of your parcel accurately, as this will help you choose the right parcel size.

How long does it take for luggage to be delivered? Travelling abroad with InPost
Delivery times to the European countries listed above are between 3 and 5 days. Please note, however, that the delivery time is calculated from the first working day. If you place your parcel in a Paczkomat® parcel locker on a Saturday or Sunday, the delivery time will be extended by one or two days. Public holidays in Poland and abroad may also affect the delivery time.
Tracking an international parcel with InPost
Once you’ve posted your parcel, you can also quickly and conveniently check the delivery status in the InPost Mobile app or on our website. If someone else is to collect the parcel on your behalf, they will receive a delivery notification in the official language of the country concerned. In the Benelux countries and France, the collection code is sent via text message by Mondial Relay, whilst in other countries it is sent by InPost.
