Meet the new type of InPost machines - Battery Ready parcel machines

We are proud to present a brand new type of InPost machines - the battery-operated parcel machine! You will be able to see the first few on the streets of Kraków and the Tricity - InPost Green City partner cities. You will easily recognise them - they are powered by photovoltaic panels!

Over the past year, we have focused our efforts on introducing further innovations in the area of Parcel Machine® optimisation, which not only improve the way you use our services, but will also contribute to significantly minimising our environmental impact. One of our flagship innovations is the introduction of a battery-operated Parcel Machine®. This type of machine has many benefits - both for customers and the environment.

Thanks to the fact that the Parcel Machine is equipped with batteries, we can install these machines in places where access to the power grid has been limited or impossible - we can now be even closer to you!

These machines have batteries that store the electricity generated by the panels during the day so that they can be a source of power at night. In addition, in situations where electricity is not produced - for example, during prolonged snowfall - the recharged battery can be an emergency power source. Furthermore, this model uses even less electricity than its predecessor. It is also worth mentioning that, in 2023, all of our ParcelMate devices were powered by energy, greened thanks to the purchase and cancellation of a Guarantee of Origin, which certifies that it came from renewable energy sources - wind and solar. We will do the same in 2024!

Through all these changes, InPost is not only improving its courier services, but is also part of the global trend towards sustainability. The continuous optimisation of Parcel Post equipment reflects our commitment to a future where technology serves both people and the planet. All of these activities are evidence of our journey towards sustainable logistics, with each successive step bringing us closer to our goal: A world where modern delivery is synonymous with ecological responsibility.
