At InPost - as a company that is environmentally responsible and develops in the spirit of sustainable action - we have introduced an ESG strategy that sets us new, ambitious tasks and commitments.
For years, we have been taking key action in a number of important socio-environmental areas. We support women's participation in the labour market, athletes' achievements, implement solutions to reduce CO2 emissions and improve logistical efficiency. We have created a comprehensive Sustainability Strategy in order to provide a framework for our actions and to set clear goals for the future.
We have identified three areas of our business where we can make a positive difference (environment, customer, employees/business partners) and turned them into the main pillars of our strategy. For each pillar, we have defined ambitions that will drive us towards specific commitments. To help maximise real impact, the ESG strategy is linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and international initiatives such as the UN Global Compact and Science Based Targets.
The comprehensiveness of our ESG strategy means that it will be a key tool to strengthen the integration of the InPost Group in all the markets in which it operates. Through it, by 2026 the InPost Group will:
- climate-neutral in scope 1 and 2
- handle 100% recycled packaging (own operations)
- contribute to the development of climate-neutral cities across Europe through the InPost Green City programme
- best e-commerce employer
- ESG leadership in value chain management through a green certification programme
- had a positive impact on 2 million people through our community engagement strategy
Our ambition is to always be the best at what we do, so the bar for the commitments we make is set high. As a leader in the e-commerce revolution, we want to change and make our supply chain even greener, our working environment even safer and more open to everyone, and our procedures a model of good corporate governance for others. It is for our customers that we are constantly improving the efficiency of our operations so that we can positively influence, shape and support green attitudes. Our ambition is for the innovation and efficiency of the InPost Group to change the lifestyles of our customers and their surroundings to be more sustainable and charged with positive energy - says InPost CEO Rafał Brzoska.
