1 Is there an additional charge for the delivery guarantee before Christmas?

No, you do not incur any charges.

2 Does the guarantee of delivery before Christmas apply to all Branches? Will all InPost Branches be delivering parcels?

Yes, the service applies to all Branches.

3. if the sender places the parcels in the Parcel Machine on Sunday, 22 December, are they covered by the delivery guarantee before Christmas?

Yes, if the conditions of the service are met.

For the package to reach you by Tuesday, 24 December, must be placed in the Parcel Machine by Sunday, 22 December, by a maximum of 13:00, and in some areas even until 16:00.

The sending time depends on the zone (postcode) in which the Parcel Machine® is located. As below:

  • Zone A - cut-off time: 16:00,

4 Does the guarantee of delivery of parcels before Christmas also apply to parcels sent from another country?

No. Parcels sent from abroad, as well as parcels sent abroad, are not covered by the delivery guarantee. In the case of international parcels, delivery times may depend on factors such as customs procedures, transport conditions or delays associated with international transport.

5. what if the sender delivers the parcel to the Parcel Machine after the deadline? Will the guarantee of delivery before Christmas still apply?

The Christmas delivery guarantee applies to parcels sent by Parcel Machine and via InPost Courier with collection by Parcel Machine.

In order for the parcel to reach you by Tuesday, 24 December, the handover of the parcel should take place on Sunday, 22 December, by a maximum of 13:00 and in some areas even by 16:00.

The posting time depends on the zone (postcode) in which the Parcel Machine® is located. As below:

  • Zone A - cut-off time: 16:00,
  • Zone B - cut-off time: 15:00,
  • Zone C - cut-off time: 14:00,

What does "before Christmas Eve" / "before Christmas" mean? By what time will the parcels be placed in the Parcel Machine?

This deadline means that parcels will be delivered by Parcel Machine no later than Tuesday, 24 December inclusive.

7. what if the parcel is stored in a Parcel Machine on Monday 23 December? Will the declaration be honoured and delivered to the Parcel Machine of my choice?

A parcel that has been placed in a Parcel Machine has the status of delivered - the delivery guarantee condition is fulfilled. If, on the other hand, the recipient has selected a Parcel Machine which is overcrowded at the time of delivery by the courier, such a parcel is transferred to another machine or a Mobile Parcel Machine (so-called MPOK) located near the intended place of collection. On 23-24 December parcels will be delivered exclusively to Parcel Machines. On these days, we will not be storing parcels in Parcel Machines so that there will be a possibility to collect them 24/7.

8 Does the guarantee apply to all parcels: both parcel and courier machines?

Delivery guarantee before Christmas applies to shipments with delivery by Parcel Post . You can send via Parcel Machine or to the courier. However, please remember to send your parcel by 13:00 at the latest or even by 16:00 in some areas.

9. Does the pre-Christmas delivery guarantee apply to parcels ordered to Parcel Point and via courier?

No, the guarantee covers parcels ordered to Parcel Machines.

10. does the delivery guarantee only cover placing the parcel in the Parcel Machine by Christmas Eve? What if the parcel is placed on time and the Parcel Machine breaks down?

In the event of a breakdown of a Parcel Machine, every effort will be made to ensure that all parcels are handed over for collection. In the event of a prolonged breakdown, parcels will be handed over to the MPOK (so-called Mobile Parcel Machine), located near the originally selected machine. If this is not possible, they will be handed over for delivery by other means, agreed individually with the recipient, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

(11) Does the delivery guarantee also cover oversize parcels (those in which the sender has misdeclared the size or weight of the parcel)?

No. In the case of parcels sent by Parcel Post that do not meet the requirements due to incorrect sizing, oversizing or weight, delivery guarantee not applicable .

What if the courier is not at home on Tuesday 24 December? Will the courier make another attempt to deliver the parcel on the same day? Can the courier leave the parcel at a nearby Parcel Post or Parcel Machine?

The guarantee of delivery before Christmas applies to only parcels sent to a parcel machine . The delivery guarantee does not apply to parcels sent to a home address or to a Parcel Post.

13. Does the delivery guarantee cover parcels sent COD?

Yes, the delivery guarantee covers parcels sent COD in accordance with the applicable rules.

14 Does the delivery guarantee cover parcels sent by private individuals?

Yes, the delivery guarantee covers parcels sent by private individuals with delivery to a Parcel Machine. The only condition is that parcels must be posted no later than 4pm on Sunday, 22 December.

15 Does the guarantee apply to all package sizes (including size and weight)?

The delivery guarantee applies to parcels of standard sizes and weights, in accordance with the service regulations. For parcels of non-standard size or exceeding the permitted weight limits, the delivery guarantee may not apply.

Before sending a parcel, it is a good idea to ensure that it meets the size and weight requirements.

 

CUSTOMER SERVICE/ COMPLAINTS

1. despite the guarantee, the package did not arrive on time. Can I expect compensation? Should I make a complaint?

If the parcel has been sent and received until Sunday, 22 December, at 13:00, and in some zones even until 16:00*, one of the following statuses:

  • "Retrieved by The Courier" - when the sender has handed over the package directly to the courier,
  • "Shipped by Parcel Machine - when the Sender has sent the parcel in a Parcel Machine,

...and was not delivered until 24 December, The customer has the right to lodge a complaint in accordance with the applicable regulations . Each application is considered individually.

The guarantee of delivery before Christmas applies to only parcels sent to a parcel machine . The guarantee does not apply to parcels sent to a home address or Parcel Post.

2. At what times, on 24 December, can the Helpline be contacted?

The helpline will be open from 7am to 10pm.

 

CONSIGNMENTS FROM ONLINE SHOPS

1. Can I shop on Allegro with the delivery guarantee? Does the delivery guarantee before Christmas cover my Allegro purchases?

Yes, we will deliver parcels sent by an Allegro seller by Monday, 23 December, by 1 p.m. to a selected Parcel Machine in Poland by 24 December. The offer applies to orders from Allegro marked on the "delivery before Christmas" page.

2. How can I check that the seller sent the package on Sunday, 22 December?

Your package should receive one of the following statuses on Sunday, 22 December:

  • "Collected by Courier" - the parcel has been collected by the Courier and is on its way to an InPost branch, from where it will continue its journey.
  • "Shipped by Parcel Machine" - the parcel has been posted by the Sender and will reach you shortly.

If the status of your parcel in the app is "Shipment created" or "In preparation" - please contact the shop. It is possible that the shop has prepared your parcel but has not forwarded it to the courier or posted it personally. If this is the case, your package may not reach you before Christmas.

3. when the sender places the parcels in the Parcel Machine on Sunday, 22 December, are they covered by the delivery guarantee before Christmas?

Yes, if the conditions of the service are met.

What if the shop informs me that the parcel has been placed in the Parcel Machine on 22 December by 1 p.m., but the parcel is not registered (I do not receive such information from InPost)?

If you send a parcel via Parcel Machine, you should receive the following the status of the parcel "Sent by Parcel Machine". If this status does not appear by 13:00 on 22 December at the latest (or 16:00 in some areas*), this means that the shop has not successfully posted the parcel by the deadline. In this situation, please contact the shop directly.

Will the Parcel Weekend service operate on Saturday 21 December?

The Parcel at the Weekend service will be provided on Saturday 21 December. The following week, i.e. Saturday 28 December, the Parcel Weekend service will also be active.
