Our energy now comes from the wind and the sun!
At InPost, we are constantly focusing on sustainability and meeting our objectives in line with the ESG Strategy and the Decarbonisation Strategy, which is why we have purchased Energy Origin Guarantees for Parcel Machines, thereby contributing to its greening.
In 2023, we have purchased as much as 7 700 MWh renewable energy, which accounted for approximately 44% of our total energy consumption in Parcel Machines. As a result, we have been able to reduce CO2 emissions by approx. 6,607 tonnes !
And in 2024, we are going one step further, ensuring that we are already 16 060 MWh green energy, a 2x increase on 2023, which will contribute to a reduction in CO2 emissions of approx. 13 780 tonnes .
These are significant steps in our mission to create a sustainable future and to be NET-ZERO by 2040 .
