Another milestone behind us! We are launching the InPost brand in Spain and Portugal and rebranding the Mondial Relay brand in France and Benelux.
Entering new markets for us and refreshing the Mondial Relay brand is another strategic step in the process of international integration of the InPost Group. The change is a continuation of our strategy of introducing modern and environmentally friendly logistics solutions for e-commerce customers in last-mile deliveries.
"The integration process of the InPost Group involves the systematic implementation of the most innovative solutions in further markets. This also applies to the InPost brand, which is synonymous with the quality of services, and which is being successfully developed in Poland, the UK and Italy. At the beginning of July, it will also be introduced in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. In France, Belgium and the Netherlands, the InPost Group will be developed under the Mondial Reley brand, whose image has been modernised and whose brand is known for its optimistic and very consumerist approach to users. This is in line with the InPost Group's strategy, which is consistently implemented in all markets." - says Rafał Brzoska , founder and CEO of InPost.
When InPost acquired Mondial Relay, the market leader in out-of-home delivery and alternative delivery points, in July 2021, it became the largest e-commerce delivery platform in Europe. The introduction of the InPost brand in Spain and Portugal and the refresh of the Mondial Relay brand implies the implementation of a number of pro-consumer solutions, the development of a network of parcel collection points and, above all, the accelerated expansion of the network of innovative Paczkomat® InPost machines in all markets, under both the InPost and Mondial Relay brands.
In France, Mondial Relay has 1,300 employees, four hubs and 26 regional agencies. In 2021 alone, the company delivered more than 140 million parcels. Thanks to the transfer of InPost's know-how, Mondial Relay is significantly expanding its offering with a network of Paczkomat® machines available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our partner in the French market is the Lidl chain of shops and it is in this supermarket in Dunkirk that Parcel Machine number 1000 has been installed. Thus, an increasing number of Mondial Relay customers can benefit from a convenient and environmentally friendly way of receiving and sending parcels.
InPost parcel machines are becoming increasingly popular in France. The French appreciate them for their safety and speed of parcel collection, as well as their environmental credentials.
The InPost Group also has 3,200 parcel collection points in Spain. The development of the service and the launch of the Paczkomat network is supported by the signing of an agreement with Galp, the most popular petrol station chain, which has 570 points. The first Paczkomat® InPost machines will be erected in major Spanish cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia and Malaga.
Entering new European markets and rebranding the Mondial Relay brand also means extending our offer with services that have revolutionised the delivery market in Poland through innovative solutions and technology.
