At InPost, we care about the safety of our employees on the road! We also develop their skills during events that combine entertainment with interesting and exciting training. Quite recently, our employees had the opportunity to take part in a unique event - TrackDay, which took place at the modern Autodrom Jastrząb facility.
Participation in TrackDay was the prize for the best drivers in the Fleet-EcoDriving competition organised by the InPost Fleet Team. Its main objective was to raise awareness and safety of our employees on Polish roads.
Participants in the Mercedes-Benz Safety Experience training course had the opportunity to verify and refine their skills under the guidance of professionals, using premium cars - Mercedes-Benz. They learnt how to react correctly to emergency situations with full use of safety systems, including emergency braking, oversteering and understeering skidding, manoeuvring, etc.
In addition, each participant was able to drive state-of-the-art, all-electric cars, ranging from the urban crossover Mercedes EQA to the sporty 500-plus horsepower EQS AMG or the almost 5-metre-long EQE limousine.
At InPost, we are constantly expanding our fleet of electric cars . Paczkomat® InPost devices are already the most environmentally friendly form of delivery, as they reduce CO2 emissions by up to 75%. By switching our courier fleet to electric cars, we are further reducing the negative impact of e-commerce logistics on the environment. Our actions are appreciated - we received a statuette for the largest fleet of electric vans. We are proud of this award as we already have over 300 electric cars!
Our investment in the eco fleet does not stop and its expansion is one of our priorities. Every day, we focus on green solutions that affect our quality of life, including through lower CO2 emissions.
In addition to continuously expanding our fleet of electric cars, we are very keen to ensure the safety of our Employees as they travel the extra mile. More training coming soon! 😊
