Who is Magda Gorzkowska? Magda comes from Bytom and is a student of dietetics at SWSM. She was a professional athlete for 12 years, specialising in 400m running. Since 2009 she was several times Polish Champion in the 400m run, vice European Junior Champion (Tallinn 2011), European Youth Champion (Tampere 2013), in 2012 she represented Poland at the Olympic Games in London. In 2016. Magda took silver at the World Indoor Championships in Portland in the 4x400m relay.
In addition to sport, her great passion is climbing the world's highest peaks. She currently has to her credit such achievements as:
- Roof of Europe - Mont Blanc 4810 m above sea level.
- The roof of South America - Aconcagua 6962 m above sea level.
- Elbrus to an altitude of around 5100m.
- Kilimanjaro - 5895 m above sea level.
Her track record is very impressive, and her strong character, ability to cope with adverse conditions and stubborn pursuit of her goals is a guarantee of success! :)
