InPost supports breast cancer prevention - we are the main partner of the #ThinkPink campaign!
4 October 2022
October has been Breast Cancer Awareness Month for many years now. This year, Purella and Ewa Chodakowska are once again joining the international action by organising the third edition of the #ThinkPink social campaign under the slogan 'intergenerational'. InPost is involved in this much-needed campaign as a main partner.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage women of all ages to have regular preventive check-ups, and to inspire them to talk about relationships and taking care of their health. #ThinkPink also encourages people to break taboos in conversations with close women about health.
In action, Purella will donate 10% from the sale of Ewa Chodakowska's limited edition pink brand bar, BeRAW, to the OnkoCafe Foundation - Together Better and helping women with breast cancer. This year, the campaign is also supported by well-known media personalities, including Omena Mensah and the Omenaa Foundation.
As the main partner of the campaign, our aim is to build awareness of breast cancer prevention, including by promoting the campaign on our channels and wrapping Paczkomat® InPost machines across Poland.
"Preventive checkups, like a nutritious diet and physical activity, should become a good habit for each of us. By taking care of ourselves, we can also become role models for others. I want to inspire all Polish women to not only remember that their health is the most important thing, but also to remind other women of this." - says Ewa Chodakowska , healthy lifestyle promoter and #ThinkPink Ambassador.
In order to publicise the need to share knowledge about cancer prevention, this year, in the role of Ambassador, she also joined the campaign as an Apple Mensah , president and founder of the Omenaa Foundation, philanthropist, journalist, businesswoman.
"I have been involved in charity work for many years and am actively involved in various charitable causes. I help children in Poland and Africa with access to education, I support refugee women and their children from Ukraine. So it was a natural decision for me to support the #ThinkPink social campaign. Education, knowledge and awareness are the basis of prevention. And Polish women are still too seldom examined, they are afraid of diagnosis, they have too little knowledge. I believe that such campaigns bring the subject of breast cancer closer and make it more familiar," says Omenaa Mensah. - says Omenaa Mensah.
The campaign kicked off at the beginning of October and will last for a whole month. The bars and dedicated action kits are available, among others, in the online shops www.purella.pl and www.bebio.pl and in the stationary shops of the action partners: Lidl, Auchan, Carrefour, Decathlon, InterMarche, Netto, Stokrotka, SuperPharm, Polomarket, Leclerc, Selgros, Frac, Frisco, Allegro, Martes, Delikatesy Centrum, Spar, Shell. InPost is the main partner of the campaign.
