Another Kamila Skolimowska's throwing festival is behind us! Of course, InPost SportTeam athletes Robert Urbanek, Wojciech Nowicki, Konrad Bukowiecki and Marcin Krukowski took part in the competition. Our athletes showed true class and proved that they belong to the national top. This time the competition took place at the Central Sports Centre in Spala.
Due to the detection of a coronavirus in one of the athletes, the competition was moved at the last minute to the centre in Spala. Last weekend, athletes competed in four categories: in the shot put, javelin throw, discus throw and hammer throw. The competition took place - due to the pandemic - without the participation of spectators. The annual competition commemorates the tragic death of Kamila Skolimowska, a former Sydney Olympic Games gold medallist.

The competition in all disciplines was fierce. In the hammer throw they faced each other Wojciech Nowicki and Paweł Fajdek, the top Polish athletes. Our representative won the competition with a score of 78.50 m beating his rival by almost two metres. Another victory was also added to his collection Marcin Krukowski, who took first place in the javelin throw.

The other InPost SportTeam athletes also did well, placing high in their categories. Konrad Bukowiecki took second place in the shot put (slightly losing to Michał Haratyk), and Robert Urbanek took second place in the discus throw.
We cheer you on, congratulate you once again and wish you continued success!
