Parcels sent by 22 December will reach the addressee on time. The parcel peak before Christmas is a challenge for all logistics operators, but InPost is perfectly prepared for this challenge." - says Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
The delivery guarantee covers all parcels that have been posted by the retailer up to and including Wednesday, 22 December. Order and collect your orders from over 15,000 InPost parcel machines nationwide!
In order to familiarise you with all the details, we have prepared frequently asked questions and answers to allay your doubts regarding the delivery guarantee for your Christmas gifts.

2. what does it mean for a parcel to be delivered "to us/in the InPost network"? What status should my parcel have so that I can be sure it will arrive before Christmas?
The term "delivered to us/in the InPost network" means respectively:
Handover to the InPost courier by the Sender on Wednesday 22 December at the maximum. This means that on this day the parcel should have the status "Received from Sender". Ideally, you should place your order between 19 and 21 December, but if this is only on Wednesday, 22 December, then be sure to make the seller hand over the parcel to our courier the same day.
Placing the parcel in a Parcel Machine by Wednesday, 22 December, by 2 p.m. This means that the parcel should have the status "Shipped in Parcel Machine" before this hour.

Does this apply to all Branches? Will all InPost Branches be delivering parcels?
Yes, this applies to all Branches.
4. how can I check if the seller has sent the package on 22 December?
Your package should receive one of the following statuses on Wednesday, 22 December:
"Received from Sender" - where the shop has handed over the parcel directly to the courier.
"Shipped in a Parcel Machine" - if the shop has sent the parcel in a Parcel Machine.
"Shipped at a Parcel Service Point" - if the shop has shipped the parcel at a Parcel Service Point.
If the status of your parcel in the app is "In preparation" - please contact the shop. It is possible that the shop has prepared your parcel but has not forwarded it to the courier or posted it personally. In this case, your package may not reach you before Christmas.
5. can the sender place parcels in the Parcel Post until 2pm and the guarantee will apply?
So in order for the parcel to reach you by 24 December, it must be placed in a Parcel Machine by Wednesday, 22 December, by 2pm.
6 What if the sender delivers the parcel to the Parcel Post after 2pm, will the guarantee apply?
In order for the parcel to reach you by 24 December, the handover of the parcel to the Parcel Post should take place by 2pm on Wednesday 22 December at the latest.
7. what does it mean before Christmas Eve? By what time will consignments be posted?
Before Christmas Eve means that parcels will be delivered to the Parcel Machine on 24 December at the maximum.
What if the parcel is stored in a Parcel Machine or Parcel Post on 23 December and it is not delivered to a Parcel Machine of my choice? Will the declaration be honoured?
In the case of an overcrowded Parcel Machine, the parcel will be transferred to another Parcel Machine or MPOK (Mobile Parcel Machine) located near the target Parcel Machine. On 23 and 24 December, parcels will be stored only in Parcel Machines so that they can be collected 24/7. On these days, we will not store parcels in a Parcel Point.

Guaranteed delivery for both parcels ordered to a Parcel Machine or Parcel Post and home delivery, with a guarantee for courier parcels that we will make the first delivery attempt no later than 24 December.
10. are parcels ordered to a Parcel Post covered by the guarantee?

11. does the guarantee only cover placement? What if the parcels are placed by Christmas Eve and the Parcel Machine breaks down?
In the event of a Parcel Machine breakdown, every effort will be made to ensure that all parcels placed in a Parcel Machine can be collected. In the event of a prolonged malfunction, the parcels will be handed over for dispatch to a MPOK (Mobile Parcel Machine) located near the originally selected Parcel Machine, or will be handed over for dispatch in another manner individually agreed with the recipient, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
What if the shop informs me that the parcel has been placed in a Parcel Machine by 2 p.m., but the parcel is not registered (I do not receive such information from InPost)?
When a parcel is sent by Parcel Post, you should receive the status of the parcel as "Shipped in Parcel Post" by Monday 2 p.m. at the latest. If this status does not appear, it means that the shop did not successfully send the parcel within this time limit. In such a situation, please contact the shop directly.
What about oversize parcels, i.e. parcels in which the sender has incorrectly declared the size or weight of the parcel? Does the delivery guarantee also apply here?
In the case of parcels whose dimensions or weight do not meet the requirements (wrong size designation, excessive dimensions or weight), the delivery guarantee does not apply.
What if the package does not arrive despite the guarantee? Can I count on compensation? Should I make a claim straight away?
If the parcel has been posted and received one of the following statuses by Wednesday, 22 December:
"Received from Sender" - when the Sender has handed the package directly to the courier
"Shipped in Parcel Machine" (status by 14:00) - if the Sender has sent the parcel in a Parcel Machine

... and has not been delivered by 24 December, the customer has the right to make a complaint in accordance with the applicable regulations. Each complaint is considered individually. In the case of courier parcels, the first delivery attempt is deemed to be the fulfilment of the guarantee.
