The Avalon Foundation is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in Poland working for the benefit of people with disabilities. The aim of the foundation's latest nationwide campaign, "Nothing Human Is Alien to Us", is to combat the stereotypical perception of disability and people with disabilities in various, social and life situations. InPost, as a Patron of the Campaign, engages in communication activities and tries to successively remove barriers that could hinder the use of Paczkomat® devices.
The latest spot of the 'Nothing Human Is Alien to Us' campaign has already been broadcast on TV and radio stations for several weeks, as well as online - through advertising, social media and PR activities. The campaign is also supported by a number of creatives working in the wider media and well-known, well-liked public figures who are involved in promoting socially important topics.
InPost has taken on the role of patron of the 'Nothing Human Is Alien to Us' Campaign and supports the Avalon Foundation in communication and promotional activities. We are also carrying out a number of activities aimed at introducing solutions which definitely make it easier for people with mobility impairments to use the services via Paczkomat® InPost. One such solution is the Easier Access Zone, which is one of the functionalities of the InPost Mobile application, which enables the parcel to be placed by the InPost courier in lower lockers, and thus - easier receipt of the parcel for people with disabilities.
"I believe that charitable activities and education in the broadest sense are fundamental elements of corporate social responsibility. Therefore, I had no doubt that supporting the campaign 'Nothing Human Is Alien to Us' of the Avalon Foundation is an important contribution in the context of helping people with disabilities. InPost's involvement in the social campaign and its patronage is part of a broader openness to the problems of people with disabilities, which also includes the successive removal of barriers in the use of Paczkomat® devices, so that everyone can use them on equal terms," says - says Rafał Brzoska , CEO of InPost and founder of the Rafał Brzoska Foundation.
