The Avalon Foundation is one of the largest non-governmental organisations in Poland working for the benefit of people with disabilities. The aim of the foundation's latest nationwide campaign, "Nothing Human Is Alien to Us", is to combat stereotypes about the everyday life of people with physical disabilities. InPost, as a Patron of the Campaign, engages in communication activities and tries to successively remove barriers that could hinder the use of Paczkomat® devices.
The main aim of the Avalon Foundation's campaign is to normalise the image of people with disabilities and show that everyday life and all its challenges apply to everyone, regardless of their level of ability. The 'Nothing Human Is Alien' campaign aims to show that disability does not have to be associated with limitations, and that people with disabilities can fulfil themselves in every sphere of life. - social, social, family or professional. It is the largest social action in Poland to shatter stereotypes about the everyday life of people with disabilities.
The nationwide campaign will see stories 6 female protagonists and those accompanying them. The campaign features:
- Anna Koczwara and her daughter Amelia Suwała,
- Bogusława Siedlecka-Goślicka and her husband Bartłomiej Goślicki,
- Angela Greniuk and Maja Michnacka,
- Julia Zakrocka and her partner Mateusz Kulpa,
- Szymon Grzech and Urszula Kobiela,
- Jakub Stanisławczyk and Małgorzata Mikołajczak.
The campaign included video spots, an outdoor and radio campaign and a range of online activities - including social media.
InPost, as Patron of the Campaign, supports the Avalon Foundation in communicating and promoting the campaign. In addition, InPost endeavours to successively remove barriers that could hinder the use of Paczkomat® devices. We do this by, among other things, introducing solutions that make it easier for people with mobility impairments to use InPost services. This is why we have created the Easier Access Zone, one of the functionalities of our InPost Mobile application, which enables the parcel to be placed by an InPost courier in a lower locker and, as a result, easier receipt of the parcel for people with disabilities. We are also involved in a wide range of charitable activities to combat social exclusion.
We encourage you to learn more about the "Nothing Human Is Alien" campaign and support the Avalon Foundation on its official website .
