On 15 June this year, the 7th Congress of the Senior Economy was held in Warsaw, which we were happy to support as a partner of the event. This year's Congress focused on the theme of age inclusivity in the labour market, but also among consumers.
The Congress of the Senior Economy is Poland's most important silver economy event, which is primarily aimed at a dialogue between the generations. At InPost, it is very important for us to educate the silver generation in the use of our services and to prevent digital exclusion of seniors . That is why we were very keen - for the umpteenth time - to get involved in this extremely important initiative. Participants at the event learnt about examples of good age diversity management in organisations and how not to forget and educate older customers, despite rapid technological change.
The congress was initiated and hosted by the National Institute of the Senior Economy. Magdalena Szczerbaciuk-Majewska, education and knowledge specialist at InPost, who has conducted many training sessions for mature customers, shared her experience in the debate 'Maturity has a right - the responsibility of organisations to include the silver generation'.
