As early as February 17, the world's best athletes will take part in the Copernicus Cup Athletics .
The Copernicus Cup is one of this year's six so-called 'golden category' myths World Athletics Indoor Tour . This year, participants will compete in as many as 12 events - men in the 800m and 1,500m runs and 60m hurdles, as well as the pole vault, ball push and high jump, and the women in the 60, 400, 800 and 3,000 metres, 60 metres hurdles and triple jump.
The showpiece of the Copernicus Cup will be the pole vaulting competition, featuring, among others, three medallists from the last world championships, as well as the current Olympic champion and former world champion. It is worth mentioning that last year, during this event, the Swede Armand Duplantis, with his result of 6.17 m, set an indoor world record in pole vault.
Most importantly, our competitor will not be absent from the competition InPost Sport Team of Konrad Bukowiecki who will play a leading role in the shot put competition. Konrad will compete against, among others, Michal Haratyk, multiple world and European champion, David Storl, bronze medallist of the last World Indoor Championships Tomas Stanek and Italian Leonardo Fabbri.
We make no secret of the fact that we already miss the sport very much, so we are all the more happy to be part of such an important event!
Meanwhile... we keep our fingers crossed for as Konrad Bukowiecki's best performance at the Copernicus CUP 2021!
