Android phone users can now manage parcels delivered by InPost directly from their car's screen.
The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry in Europe, is expanding the functionality of the InPost Mobile app with integration with Android Auto. This is the next stage in the development of the InPost mobile services ecosystem, following the implementation of Apple CarPlay. With this new extension, Android users can now manage their parcels directly from their car's dashboard.
More and more drivers are using smart car systems, so it was a natural step for InPost to make our app available on car screens as well. Following the implementation of Apple CarPlay integration in August 2025, we are expanding the availability of InPost Mobile to the Android Auto platform. All this to make parcel collection even more convenient and better suited to today's lifestyle. We can see that drivers really appreciate this type of solution. In the first month after the implementation of Apple CarPlay alone, 71,000 people used the application from their cars, and as many as 86% opened their lockers remotely. This proves that we are heading in the right direction. – he says Rafał Brzoska, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the InPost Group .
Thanks to the integration of the InPost Mobile app with Android Auto, you can check the current list of parcels ready for collection on your car's screen, launch navigation to the selected Paczkomat or PaczkoPunkt parcel locker, and remotely open the locker when you arrive at your destination. Solutions like this save users time – parcels can now be picked up more easily "on the way" to work, school or the shops. Systems such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay also significantly increase driver safety. They allow you to safely and conveniently use the most important smartphone functions on your car's screen without having to operate your phone while driving.
To start using InPost Mobile in Android Auto, simply update the InPost Mobile app to the latest version, agree to share your location, and connect your smartphone to your car's system. The same applies to Apple CarPlay. iOS users who want to use InPost Mobile on their car's screen must also update the app, connect their phone to the car, and enable location sharing.
