We believe that education, dialogue and good cinema can inspire positive change. That is why we support Poland's largest environmental film festival.

For the eighth time, Krakow will be transformed into the centre of a cinematic story focusing on our planet. Another BNP Paribas Green Film Festival - Poland's largest and one of the world's leading events devoted entirely to films with an environmental theme .

Every year, the festival attracts thousands of people who want not only to watch films, but above all to talk about how to live in harmony with the environment.

This year we are proud to take on the role of lead partner events to support an initiative that, rather than flaunting slogans, relies on facts, a diversity of perspectives and a joint search for solutions.

Czym jest BNP Paribas Green Film Festival?

Since 2018, the festival has been consistently building a space where filmmakers, experts, activists and everyone who cares about the fate of the Earth can have an open, social dialogue.

It is an event where art meets science and inspiration turns into collective action, as the BNP Paribas Green Film Festival educates, moves and shows that each of us has an impact on the reality around us. 💚

Among the important topics the festival addresses are:

• The digital carbon footprint, or how our online presence affects the environment,
• greenwashing - how to recognise "green lies",
• the state of Poland's forests and ecosystems,
• the impact of consumption on the climate,
• The role of Big Tech in shaping our online habits.

Bold dialogue and authenticity. These are what make this event inspiring and, in the eyes of the participants, more than just a film festival.

What's on the agenda for the 8th edition?

This year's BNP Paribas Green Film Festival will take place on 11-17 August on Krakow's Vistula boulevards and on the occasion of festival outdoor cinemas.

The programme includes:

• 56 competition films, world premieres and award-winning productions,
• daily children's cinema at 18:00,
• lectures, exhibitions and meetings with experts,
• scientific stand-ups,
• opening panel with digital carbon footprint,
• free repairs, upcycling workshops and a TAKE CUP scheme to promote eco-friendly habits.
