Paczkomat® Urząd 24 will also be available in Gorzów Wlkp., Nowy Targ, Wołomin and Koszalin.
InPost - the leader in modern logistics in Poland - has donated three specialised Paczkomat® Urząd 24 devices for the needs of the Vehicle and Driver Registration Department of the Krakow City Hall. They will allow residents to deal with official matters without the need to enter the building and have direct contact with officials. Via the InPost device, it is possible to collect, among other things, a vehicle registration certificate from the Office in the event of its replacement due to lack of space for the entry for the technical inspection, duplicates of the vehicle card, driving licence, number plate and registration certificate. Further installations of the machines at offices throughout Poland are planned - InPost is in talks with dozens of cities. Already now, a specialised Paczkomat® will be available at city halls and district offices in: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Nowy Targ, Wołomin and Koszalin.
The Paczkomat® Urząd 24 solution is not only a response to the need for contactless services. It is also a major step in the realisation of the idea of city management based on the principles of 'Smart Cities', which is designed to improve the living standards of residents.
Paczkomat® Urząd 24 will be installed at the three locations of the Department of Vehicle and Driver Registration - at 10 Powstania Warszawskiego Avenue, at the Zgody 2 housing estate in Nowa Huta and at 28A Wielicka Street. Documents can be collected at the machine located at the office where the application was submitted. If the application was made electronically, the documents can be collected from the machine at al. Powstania Warszawskiego 10.
"I am delighted that the new InPost Urząd 24 service has started operating in Krakow, which will allow residents to settle official matters in a fast and secure way using a Paczkomat®. This is a response to the currently growing demand for contactless and convenient handling of administrative matters. Such a solution during the pandemic period is much safer for both residents and the officials themselves. As the popularity of the service grows, further devices will be distributed to other town hall departments and other organisational units." - reported Jacek Majchrowski, Mayor of the City of Krakow.
"Krakow joins a number of other cities that are already using our latest InPost Urząd 24 service. Importantly for us, this is the first such large city that has decided to use modern logistics solutions to also serve residents. This service reduces the need for contact between officials and residents, and the demand for contactless services continues to grow. It also helps to truly realise the idea of Smart Cities-based city management, which is designed to improve the living standards of residents. The service helps to reduce queues in offices - our machine is available not only during their working hours, but seven days a week and 24 hours a day. We have configured our machines to meet the needs of the Vehicle and Driver Register Department of the Krakow City Hall, thanks to which the circulation of documents between the office and the residents will be quick and efficient. Interest in the InPost Urząd 24 service is very high - we are approached by dozens more cities thinking of streamlining the work of their offices through our machines. We will be helping them." - said Rafał Brzoska, founder and CEO of InPost.
When submitting an application for a case you are handling, ask the clerk if it is possible to collect the documents from the machine Paczkomat® InPost will inform you by text message to the telephone number you have given when the documents are waiting to be collected from the machine. The message will show the code needed to open it and the maximum time limit for collecting documents from the machine. During the pandemic, InPost recommends the convenient and safe collection of documents remotely using the free application InPost Mobile from the smartphone (app available for download in the App Store and Google Play shops), instead of the standard use of the touch panel. This solution prophylactically prevents the transmission of the virus.
Currently, residents through the Paczkomat® Office 24 Department of Vehicle and Driver Records of the City of Krakow can:
