Without label, in any Paczkomat® InPost device
InPost - a leader among e-commerce delivery platforms in Europe - is introducing a 'quick returns' service in the InPost Mobile app, without the need to print labels. Any app user can make returns directly from the mobile app, immediately after receiving the parcel. The returned goods can be posted at any Paczkomat® device. The return process itself is quick and very intuitive. In addition, the customer can immediately track the parcel's return journey to the sender in the app.
- From now on, every InPost Mobile user can return their parcel in a fast and convenient way! You do not need any label to do so - all you need is a code generated in the process of returning a parcel in the InPost mobile application and sending it in any Paczkomat® InPost® device. This is another convenience that we have introduced in our network of devices - covering more than 16,000 locations. With the rapid growth of online shopping, 40% of shoppers already expect a convenient option to return goods, and as many as 64% would be most likely to do so via Paczkomat® InPost devices. This confirms that easy returns of goods bought online is one of the most motivating factors for shopping - underlines Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
How to return a parcel in the InPost Mobile app? It's easy!
- In the bottom menu of the application, select the RETURN icon
In the "Search for a shop" section, start typing the name of the shop to which you wish to return the parcel. The list includes shops that offer a return service. You can also select a parcel to return from the list of your parcels below the search field.
- Fill in the return details
Fill in your details and click "return parcel". If the shop of your choice does not require you to accept the return, that's it - your return has been submitted! You will find the return code in the app and in the email.
- Wait for the shop to accept the return
In the case of a required acceptance of the return by the shop, wait for confirmation after filling in the form. You will receive a notification in the app and by email when the return can already be sent at the Paczkomat® InPost device.
- Prepare the return package
Pack and secure the parcel. If you use the same box (we encourage you to be eco and zero waste!), remove the old label. You don't need to print any new label - use the in-app generated return code when sending.
- Send your return in an InPost parcel machine
Go to any of the devices with the prepared package. At the reader on your device, scan the QR code from the app or select the parcel posting options on the device screen and enter the return code. The box will open automatically! Now place the parcel in the box. Done! Your parcel is delivered!
