InPost - the leader in modern logistics in Poland - is introducing a new service for business customers, i.e. those who have signed a contract with InPost. InPost's new solution called Give Further introduces favourable pricing conditions for parcels that have been physically sent and received at the same machine. The service will be especially beneficial for small e-commerce that operates locally. Placing parcels in a Paczkomat® machine close to the business will allow contactless and secure collection of parcels 24/7. The service does not require any changes to systems or additional integration - the fee is charged automatically, without any additional activity on the part of the business customer. The only condition to be fulfilled is to send and receive the parcel in the same device.
Pass on service for business customers
To use InPost's new service for businesses Pass On, all you need to do is:
● generate an address label with the selected receiving device, which is also the sending machine. This can be done from the Parcel Manager or another parcel creation tool. The service is not available to individual customers sending parcels via the InPost Mobile application ;
● place the parcel in the selected Paczkomat® InPost receiving device;
● after a few minutes, the recipient will receive a notification that the parcel can be collected from the same machine.
Relief from restrictions on the opening hours of service points
"Our new service is aimed at small, local business and small e-commerce, which especially now relies on personal collection of goods ordered by customers. From now on - with favourable price conditions - entrepreneurs can send parcels to their customers, for example, at the nearest Paczkomat® InPost machine, where ordering customers will collect their order without contact with employees and when it is convenient for them. The Give Away service frees you from the constraints imposed by the opening times of your business and is a natural extension of the pick-up time or operation of the pick-up point itself. Often service outlets are only open until 5 p.m. - the Parcel Machine® allows you to pick up your order 24/7. The Pass On service is also a great option for small businesses that sell their products through ad platforms." - said Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost.
If the consignment is sent at a machine other than the selected receiving facility, the standard price will be charged and the consignment will be delivered to the originally selected machine. The service is not available to prepaid customers and for parcels sent as part of the InPost Allegro Paczkomat 24/7 service.
In connection with the launch of the new service, an updated price list for the InPost Paczkomat 24/7 service has also been published on the inpost.pl website.
