InPost Group consistently pursues pan-European development strategy
The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce industry in Europe, is consistently pursuing its strategy of expanding its European network of Paczkomat® machines. The recently deployed machine No. 5000 in the UK has been joined by Paczkomat® No. 3000 in France. InPost uses an advanced and unique logistics system developed in Poland, successfully implementing it in European markets. Throughout Europe, InPost focuses not only on large cities, but also - as in Poland - on smaller towns. The French machine 3000 was launched in the tourist commune of Les Villards-sur-Thônes in Upper Savoy, near the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand.
- Deliveries by Paczkomat® have been very well received by French consumers. Already the use of the most popular machines deployed in France is at the same level as in Poland. It is therefore no surprise that we are expanding the existing machines and densifying their network very quickly. This is part of the implementation of our European strategy - in which we are developing the proprietary last-mile delivery system, which has achieved such huge success in Poland, in further countries. In France, as before in Poland, we are not just focusing on the largest cities - but also on smaller towns or even communes, such as Les Villards-sur-Thônes, with a population of less than 1,000, where machine No. 3000 was erected. We are convinced that building a comprehensive network in each of the markets where we are present is the key to success, and this is a strategy we are consistently pursuing." - said Rafał Brzoska, CEO and founder of InPost.
InPost and Mondial Relay's extensive delivery network in France already includes more than 12,000 pick-up points, and this year will surpass another important milestone of 3,000 Paczkomat® devices.
- Installing 3,000 Paczkomat® machines in a ski resort during the peak season is a great opportunity and promotion of this modern service, not only to the local community. - underlines Vincent Paz, director of organic food brand Le marché bio des Aravis in front of which the device is installed.
InPost and Mondial Relay offer an extensive network of collection points in France to meet consumers' high expectations.
- The Parcel Machine® No. 3000 is an important milestone in the development on the French market. It makes it even more possible for our customers to benefit from a simple, practical and easily accessible solution for collecting or sending parcels at any time, 24 hours a day - underlines Frédérique Lancien, animal husbandry director at client Mondial Relay .
To celebrate the launch of the 3,000 devices, InPost and Mondial Relay invited customers, residents and tourists to celebrate together in Les Villards-sur-Thônes. Those wishing to do so were able to enter a draw to win an electric scooter, many goodies (mugs, heaters, shopping bags, etc.) and discount codes for parcel delivery, as well as enjoy sweets, biscuits and hot chocolate. There were plenty of balloons for the little ones.
InPost, the leader in logistics solutions for e-commerce, is successfully continuing its European expansion. In mid-March this year, the company has officially confirmed the installation of the 5000 Parcel Machine® in the UK , making this market the second country after Poland with the largest number of InPost machines. This means that consumers can send and receive their parcels using more than 290,000 boxes. Already, almost half of the residents of London, Birmingham and Manchester live within a seven-minute walk of the nearest Paczkomat® device.
