11 April 2016
InPost Finanse - as part of the development of its cross-selling strategy for non-logistics products - is building a wide and flexible range of financial and peri-financial products by concluding numerous partnership agreements. In 2015, the company finalised a contract with, among others, the insurance multibroker CUK Ubezpieczenia, which will allow it to expand its offer in this service segment. In turn, cooperation with DELTIS will enable the company to acquire customers interested in reducing electricity costs and, from May this year, to enrich its offer with the supply of natural gas. In addition, in the first quarter of 2016, InPost Finanse signed an agreement with Columbus Energy to provide energy solutions based on renewable energy sources, in particular photovoltaics. At the same time, an agreement was also concluded with KM Finanse for cooperation within the framework of finance and credit products.
"Based on our operational audit, we are expanding our range of financial and peri-financial products. To this end, we are forging new partnerships with companies in various industries - we aim to create a wide range of non-logistics products under one roof. In 2016, we also plan to develop distribution channels through our own website, which we anticipate launching in April." - Sebastian Anioł, CEO of InPost S.A., comments.
The main objectives of the implemented concept of cross-selling of non-logistics products by InPost Finanse are to increase profitability within the existing business and to use the potential of the Group. In 2016, the company intends to systematically expand the range of products and services offered and develop distribution channels.
"Between March and June, we will carry out tests allowing us to build a commercial network based on personal contacts with customers. It is worth emphasising that InPost Finanse's new strategy is aimed at both individual and business customers. I am convinced that the implemented solutions will allow the company to strengthen its position on the market and develop a significant competitive advantage over other entities operating in the industry." - Sebastian Anioł adds.
Currently, InPost Finanse's core business is based on bulk cash withdrawals, remittance posting and bill payment at cash points. The company cooperates closely with public institutions in the delivery of remittances. Entities that cooperate with InPost Finanse in this area include the largest Polish banks, field branches of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (KRUS) and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), municipal offices, social welfare centres and benefit centres.
A member of the InPost SA Group, the company is also a long-standing provider of insurance services and products. The company - on a large scale - also provides outsourcing of billing and transaction processes. In this respect, it supports, among others, the largest telecom in Poland.
InPost Finanse operates in the market as an entity with the status of a national payment institution. It is granted by the Financial Supervision Commission on the basis of strict guidelines. Only institutions that are able to ensure an appropriately high level of security, meet a number of legal, financial and technical conditions and have the necessary experience - appropriate to the type and scope of their activities - are granted a KNF permit to operate as a domestic payment institution.
