InPost continues its decarbonisation efforts!

We are proud to announce that we are starting the production of the so-called central modules in the Parcel Machine using low-carbon XCarb steel from ArcelorMittal . This is an important step in the implementation of the Decarbonisation Strategy and an example of emissions reduction in the supply chain.
Why XCarb?
XCarb sheet is produced with a high proportion of scrap steel and using 100% renewable electricity, making its carbon footprint 64% smaller than that of its conventional counterpart. This solution not only supports the fight against CO₂ emissions, but is also perfectly in line with the principles of a circular economy.
As climate change continues, business has a responsibility to make informed and sustainable decisions. Delivering to Parcel Machines by optimising the last mile route is already helping to reduce CO2 emissions by 98% compared to our courier delivery*, and using XCarb steel will allow us to reduce our environmental impact even further, she said Izabela Karolczyk-Szafrańska - Chief Marketing & ESG Officer InPost .
Our goal at ArcelorMittal is to build a better world by creating innovative low-carbon steel that responds to the growing challenges of protecting the planet. With XCarb, we are helping to reduce our carbon footprint and accelerate the transformation towards a sustainable future. We are pleased to be creating this future together with the InPost Group using smart solutions," said Romuald Rduch - Head of Sales AMSSC Poland .
We are convinced that every step towards climate protection is a step in the right direction, and with the support of our customers, partners and suppliers, together we are creating a more sustainable future.
