InPost participates in the green transformation of Warsaw as a Main Partner of the Green Fund! As part of the agreement, the Warsaw Greenery Board has signed a contract for the construction of a new pocket park in Mokotów. The investment will be realised from the budget of our proprietary InPost Green City Programme.
We are very pleased that, as part of the agreement concluded with the Greenery Management of the City of Warsaw, a new pocket park in Mokotow will be realised . The area at the junction of Racławicka and Balonowa Streets will undergo a huge metamorphosis: a green, resident-friendly place will be created on an area of as much as 300m2.
The investment will be financed from the budget of the InPost Green City Programme, which is one of the elements of the long-term strategy being implemented - InPost plans to achieve complete climate neutrality by 2040. The aim of the programme is to reduce CO2 emissions and car traffic in city centres, thereby ensuring that residents live in a clean and modern urban space.
As part of the Green Fund of the City of Warsaw, partners are supporting the capital in implementing AdaptCity - Warsaw's climate change adaptation strategy. The partners have planned to plant over 800 m2 of grasses, perennials and bulbous plants in Mokotów, Ochota and Żoliborz, together with their annual maintenance. All work under the contract is to be completed by the end of 2023.
