The company already has over 10,000 Paczkomat® machines in France

The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce sector in Europe, is steadily expanding its presence in key international markets. In less than three months, the number of parcel lockers in France increased by over 1,000, exceeding 10,000 units by the end of the year. In total, the InPost Group manages a network of over 61,000 Paczkomat machines across as many as nine countries.

The dynamic – and, last year, record-breaking – growth of our infrastructure is the result of a long-term strategy and a response to the changing shopping habits of Europeans. Parcel lockers are now the first choice for millions of consumers who expect accessibility, convenience and reliability, regardless of the country. Following our success in Poland, we are consistently rolling out this model to further markets, strengthening our position in strategically important countries such as France and the UK, and creating one of the most advanced and densely-covered logistics networks in Europe – emphasises Wojciech Kądziołka, Press Officer at InPost.

In 2025, the InPost Group installed a record 14,200 new parcel lockers, marking a 30 per cent year-on-year increase. In Poland, the number of Paczkomat parcel lockers rose to over 28,000, in continental Europe to over 19,000, and in the UK to nearly 14,000.

In the French market, where the InPost Group’s subsidiary Mondial Relay operates, the rapid expansion of the network is a response to marked changes in shoppers’ preferences. More than half of France’s population prefers out-of-home deliveries. As many as 75 per cent of consumers use parcel lockers, and 93 per cent of them say they wish to continue using this delivery method. Furthermore, over half of users opt for delivery to a parcel locker at least once a month, and nearly a third do so very regularly. In urban areas, 68 per cent of parcel locker users use Mondial Relay lockers, which further confirms the brand’s position as market leader.

The InPost Group has announced that it will continue to expand its out-of-home network in key European markets. In the UK alone, the company will invest nearly 600 million pounds by 2029 and plans to significantly increase the number of parcel lockers. InPost is also rapidly expanding its Paczkomat network in other markets. There are already nearly 5,000 machines in Italy, whilst in Spain the number of parcel lockers rose to over 4,000 last month. This is a response to the growing needs of e-commerce customers and a way of strengthening the company’s position as a leader in modern delivery services in Europe.
