Our adventure at the World Cup in Qatar has come to an end, but we can safely say that the Polish national team performed really well at this year's World Cup!
The 2022 World Cup was an emotional spectacle for Polish fans. A goalless draw with Mexico, a 2-0 victory against Saudi Arabia and spectacular interventions by the World Cup hero Wojciech Szczęsny during the match against Argentina ensured our first World Cup group exit since 1986. As a small gesture of gratitude from InPost, we set up a Parcel Machine® for Wojtek in Warsaw's Jerozolimskie Avenue 😉 .
During the match against 2018 World Champion France, we presented a courageous game, but it was not enough to win. We ended our World Cup adventure after the match against France with a score of 3:1. Robert Lewandowski scored the honourary goal by putting the ball in the goal during a penalty kick.
To quote the words of Piotr Zielinski: "After 36 years we could be happy to get out of the group" and for that our national team is very grateful! 😊
Thank you for the unforgettable football emotions! And the Polish national team is about to face another challenge - the qualifiers for Euro 2024, which will start in March 2023. Poland's rivals in the group will be the Czech Republic, Albania, Moldova and the Faroe Islands.
