25 September 2025
Interest in courier services is declining, but InPost is gaining ground – by as much as 8 percentage points. This time, there are no fewer than 3 top prizes up for grabs!
The InPost Group, a leader in logistics solutions for the e-commerce sector in Europe, has been setting trends in the e-commerce delivery market for years – as confirmed by the Gemius 2025 survey. InPost’s Paczkomat parcel lockers remain the most popular choice for online delivery, consistently chosen by over 87 per cent of respondents. InPost’s parcel lockers are also cited by 95 per cent of respondents as the factor that most encourages them to shop online.
At a time when e-commerce trends are evolving day by day, InPost is not only keeping pace with these changes but is also shaping the future of deliveries, whilst consistently maintaining its leading position. The latest Gemius survey for 2025 does not indicate any groundbreaking changes in the field of e-commerce deliveries. Consumers are opting for solutions that are convenient, fast and efficient, which is why InPost’s Paczkomat® parcel lockers remain the most appealing and most frequently chosen method of delivery and returns – emphasises Izabela Karolczyk-Szafrańska, Chief Marketing & ESG Officer, InPost. – InPost has been a pioneer in innovative solutions for years – it was the first to introduce remote collection from Paczkomat parcel lockers, parcel tracking and label-free posting. This has enabled it to build a strong market lead – currently, over 50 per cent of respondents use remote collection, and three-quarters of users rate the quality of parcel tracking via mobile channels highly,” he adds.
According to respondents to the Gemius report entitled ‘E-commerce in Poland in 2025’, InPost’s Paczkomat parcel lockers are the most frequently chosen delivery method – 87 per cent of respondents indicated this as their preferred option. They are particularly popular amongst the youngest respondents: as many as 94 per cent of those aged 15–24 choose delivery via InPost parcel lockers. Parcel lockers are also highly popular for returns, with 91% of respondents preferring to make returns via an InPost parcel locker. The report highlights a decline in interest in traditional courier services – with the exception of InPost, which managed to increase its market share by an impressive 8 percentage points. Courier services offered by DPD are losing ground – a drop of 5 percentage points – as are those offered by DHL – a drop of 2 percentage points.
As indicated by respondents surveyed by Gemius, the proximity of Paczkomat® parcel lockers is a key factor for 88 per cent of consumers who shop online. InPost, which operates Poland’s largest network of over 27,500 parcel lockers, is meeting these expectations. Other key factors encouraging online shopping included the ability to manage parcels via an app (78 per cent) and parcel tracking options (85 per cent). Both of these features were introduced to the market by InPost and are available on the InPost Mobile app – which further enhances the brand’s appeal.
InPost’s position as the market leader in postal and courier services is reflected not only in the Gemius report, but also in the latest data from UKE. As many as 71.8% of respondents named InPost as the main postal service provider they use – leaving the rest of the competition far behind. Second place in this ranking went to DPD with 9.7 per cent, followed by Pocztex with 6.5 per cent, DHL – 6.4 per cent, Allegro (OneKurier) – 1.8 per cent, and Ruch (Orlen Paczka) – 1.4 per cent.
