InPost agreement with Salzburg AG
InPost has launched the first Paczkomat® machines in Salzburg, Austria. In June 2019, InPost won the tender to supply the machines to the city and concluded a contract with Salzburg AG. The company will deliver up to 1,000 Paczkomat® devices to the Salzburg region by 2024.
The latest models of Paczkomat® machines, NEW FM, are on the streets of Salzburg. InPost supports the Austrian partner with know-how and after-sales services and is also responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the machines.

"Western Europe has a much better-developed logistics infrastructure - hence the boom in our devices there is somewhat delayed. For years, Poles have not been able to imagine receiving e-shopping without Paczkomat® InPost devices. I am convinced that the increasing pressure to automate services, the emphasis on environmentally friendly solutions and the simultaneous lack of manpower - will accelerate the popularisation of our solutions in Europe. Paczkomat® InPost is a viable alternative to classic courier deliveries or the collection of parcels from random and non-standardised collection points such as kiosks, shops or petrol stations. It is important that InPost not only supplies and installs, but also services the machines - this model of cooperation in European markets will provide us with a long-term revenue stream." - said Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost .

"Today's innovations are tomorrow's solutions. That is why Salzburg AG is pursuing projects that make the future even more exciting. Proof of the power of innovation at Salzburg AG, which will soon benefit our customers, is MYFLEXBOX." - emphasised representatives of Salzburg AG .
Austria is not the only market where InPost devices have appeared - in previous years, devices have also been delivered to operators in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Iceland, Ireland, Canada, Colombia, Brazil and Australia.
Demand for InPost's services is growing steadily - the number of devices in the Paczkomat® network (6000 devices in Poland) has exceeded the scale of the Polish Post Office's own outlets (4600 [1] ).
As many as 63% of online shoppers declare that they most often use the services offered by InPost [2] - This is the highest result among all logistics companies operating in Poland.
