Follow GIS recommendations and avoid human concentrations
Taking special precautions - especially avoiding human clusters and contact with infected people - can help limit the spread of the coronavirus. Therefore, it is advisable to shop online, and for the expected increase in infections, InPost recommends using the Paczkomat® network of devices - as one of the safest forms of delivery. In this way, contact between the courier and the recipient can be limited, and by using the mobile application, we do not have to touch the control panel of the device®.

InPost recommendations:
- if you have the choice between delivery by InPost courier or to a device, choose Parcel Machine® - this will reduce contact with other people
- do not touch the control panel when picking up the parcel - open the box using the InPost app from your smartphone (app available for download in the App Store and Google Play shops)
- for home/apartment deliveries, we recommend that couriers and recipients keep a sufficient distance and hand over parcels at the door or in front of the house to minimise face-to-face contact time
- in accordance with health authorities' guidelines, we recommend avoiding direct contact in the form of greeting by shaking hands, handing mobile computers - while signing - pens, etc.
"We have decided to make a recommendation to customers - as part of which the We recommend the use of the Paczkomat® InPost machine network when the seller offers the option of delivery by both our courier and Paczkomat®. In this way, we preventively limit contact between courier and the recipient. This is important in view of the fact that, as the WHO reports, the virus is most often transmitted by the droplet route." - said Wojciech Kądziołka, spokesman for InPost.
InPost has implemented special procedures throughout the company that emphasise preventive measures. "In our opinion, during the expected increase in illnesses, the most important thing will be to maintain the stability of supplies, maintain logistics chains and ensure the safety of recipients. This is why it is so important to maintain the continuity of logistics companies' operations by taking care of the health of their employees," - he emphasises Wojciech Kądziołka .
Currently, InPost has more than 6,000 Paczkomat® machines throughout Poland .
