Types of logistical processes

These are used for enterprise resource planning, covering most activities related to the company's operations: procurement, transport, supply chain management, accounting or communication between the company's various departments.
One of several examples of the use of modern technology in logistics is also the increasing use of RFID (radio-frequency identification) readers, or radio frequency identification systems. This technology successfully replaces the scanning of barcodes, as it allows goods to be identified from a greater distance. As a result, the warehouse employee does not have to approach each item individually, and this reduces the time needed, for example, to search for it on the shelf.
