Dear Customer,
We would like to inform you about the changes we are implementing in InPost documents. They concern the following areas:
- Regulations of InPost Paczkomaty 24/7 and InPost Kurier services
- Allegro Paczkomaty, Allegro Kurier and InPost courier collection services under Allegro Smart!
- Rules for the preparation and packaging of InPost parcels
- Price list for InPost Paczkomaty 24/7 and InPost Kurier services
The above modifications shall enter into force 1 April 2021 .
The updated documents can be found at the following link https://inpost.pl/regulaminy .
We have summarised for you the most important changes in the above documents:
- We are introducing a new organisation of parcel collections - we are standardising and extending the available delivery times for the benefit of customers (for most locations)
- We are unifying the rules on shipping hours for all ad-hoc drive-up orders, Parcel Post and Parcel Point shipments, for InPost Parcel Post shipments, InPost Courier shipments and Allegro shipments.
- We are introducing the division of postal codes nationwide into 4 zones, the type of which depends on the distance from the branch:
- Zone A - cut-off time 16:00
- Zone B - cut-off time 15:00
- Zone C - cut-off time 14:00
- Zone D - cut-off time 13:00
- The cut-off time in each zone is the maximum time of dispatch at the Parcel Machine/Parcel Post or the time of the courier's pick-up order, so that the parcel is on its way the same day.
- It is possible to check in which zone the selected postal code is located by means of a search engine available on a dedicated page https://inpost.pl/godziny-odbiorow
- The changes being made do not apply to permanent driveways - the existing arrangements with InPost remain unchanged.
- We are moving the service of sending a parcel without a label directly from the control panel of a Parcel Machine, with the option of purchasing the service, selecting the recipient and paying directly at the machine, to the InPost Mobile application - this change does not affect the possibility of sending a parcel directly in a Parcel Machine with a previously generated and paid label
- Direct shipment without a label in the mobile app is more convenient and faster for the shipper.
- The change will be implemented gradually on individual machine types. For most of them, the option will be switched off by the end of April 2021 (individual machines may even have the option until the end of the year).
- The change does not apply to other Parcel Posting processes - parcels with a label from Business and Retail Customers; parcels without a label within Quick Returns and Allegro Returns products.
- The main reason for the change is the relatively long time it takes to send a parcel directly from the Parcel Machine screen, which consequently overloads the machine and blocks it for other sendings and receipts.
- We regulate provisions for combining multiple wrappers within a single package ("plywood")
- In the case of a shipment consisting of two or more separate individual packages combined into one parcel - without an external additional carton - the parcel will be qualified as a non-standard parcel, which will incur an additional charge as specified in the InPost Courier Price List.
- Detailed regulations, with examples, can be found in the InPost Parcel Packing and Preparation Rules document.
- The reason for the above change is the need to sort this type of parcel manually, without the use of automatic sorters. Automatic sorting of this type of parcels increases the risk of damage, in the logistical process, to InPost's infrastructure or to the parcel itself. The way recommended by InPost to avoid additional charges is to place multiple individual packages in a larger, bulk carton.
- We are introducing changes to the Price Lists of InPost Courier and InPost Paczkomaty 24/7 services. They are dictated by a number of investments we made in 2020, such as the intensive development of the parcel network and the opening of the second Central Sorting Plant, as well as the occurrence of significant external factors that generated a measurable increase in operating costs on our side. These factors include: inflation, rising electricity prices, an increase in the minimum wage or the COVID-19 pandemic.Updated versions of the price lists can be found under the link https://inpost.pl/cenniki .
Prices are being increased:
- InPost Parcel Machines 24/7 for Business and Retail Customers
- InPost Courier for Business Customers
- Non-standard parcel services for InPost Courier shipments for business customers
- Fees for weight and dimension verification for InPost Courier shipments for business customers
- Charges for cash on delivery (COD) for InPost Courier shipments for business customers
- Courier Pick-up Fees for Retail Customers
5. We are introducing an update to the document "Regulations for the distribution of packaging and consumables" as part of the InStore service provided by InPost sp. z o.o..
- We are updating the prices of consumables, foil packs and cartons in our InStore, available in the Parcel Manager
- The market situation, in the area of rising paper and board and film prices, is forcing us to increase the prices of our products.
- The new prices reflect the level of increases from our suppliers; at the same time, we are working to make the available range more attractive and broader, which we will announce in future communications.
- The new Rules and Regulations together with the Price List can be found at the link: https://inpost.pl/regulaminy
- The new prices for the InStore range will be applied to orders placed from 25 March this year.
Thank you for reviewing the changes made to the documents.
If any questions or concerns arise, please contact InPost.
With greetings,
